Hey, I think it is the unicorn. It looks like it has metalness now. I’ll send Valve a message about it, hopefully it gets fixed.

@TheDanidem : thanks! I checked all of my settings and the skin just literally isn't the same, looks completely different without that effect

Did some update break the skin/finish? I came back and the skin no longer has the shiny finish :(

Hah yeah, you can see how on the gif above I was next to Nuke's vending machine so the light could hit the MP9 to showcase the intended effect, that's all I had back then to show that "magic marble" feel I was looking for.

Thank you so much for answering! I'm ecstatic to hear this. My friend and I are in love with this skin and until just yesterday had somehow never seen it in-game, only thumbnails on browsers which don't do most skins justice. It looks amazing this way! Thank you again for answering! It looks superb this way compared to the CSGO way, I'm glad the tech you needed for the intended effect is finally working because your vision for the skin worked out AMAZING

tachyon- The way the skin looks in CS2 was the way I wanted it to look in CSGO. The tech wasn't there yet but since it catched up now you can see the skin the way I intended!

In CS2 the Starlight Protector is insanely shiny and different than the workshop video here that was taken on CSGO. I actually much prefer it now, however is it intentional or a bug with the skin being ported to CS2?

Realmente al ver esta skin, me doy cuenta que eres una persona que le pone todo su Amor a tu trabajo. esto es el resultado de mucho esfuerzo y dedicación. Es la mejor skin de mp9 por lejos de las demás. y no solo de mp9, sino de la mejores de todo el juego. no me canso de verla. simplemente es única y muy hermosa. no necesita nada mas. ni el rectángulo del stattrack. ni el tagname debe ponérsele, ya que estos taparían parte de la skin. me la compre obviamente. felicitaciones.
