just to clarify, when the options menu button says "disable slow fire spread after 950 fires" does that mean it is currently disabled, or that clicking the button will disable it?

If you enable debug you can see the amount of fire, its current spread rate and the internal rate being calculated

The multiplier is how fast the fire gains speed. Means that there nees to less fire present for it to go faster
