With the exception of the sound of the pistol and double pistol, the audio is incredible.
I recommend removing some of the high pitch from the pistol sound, and when using a double pistol, set the audio to alternate randomly between sounds. If you can add at least 1 more and randomize the shots in both weapons even better

the mac 10 not playing bolt forward while reloading isnt a bug, its an addition from tls(?) since mac-10s are open bolt, it actually should be like that in the draw too

recently started using this mod, tested it on tumtara test map, there is NO delay with the fire bullet or explosive bullet sounds. no idea what people are saying, perhaps they just have too many addons that are causing issues

does anyone know how to separate weapon handling and weapon firing sounds? i really like the gunfire sounds but the reloading sounds doesn't sync well with some gun mods

problem when using fire rounds (maybe also frag). there's a delayed sound after shooting. it's annoying

Bruh. Valve doesn't do the best sound design but you can't call it low quality. I can definitely point out contemporary games that had much worse sound design.

Basically, if someone were to replace the MP5's firing sound in their game files (as in, the version in the Left 4 Dead 2/left4dead2/sound/ folder) with one at a higher sample rate and rebuild their sound cache files (using snd_rebuildaudiocache) then high quality MP5 sounds from the workshop/custom folder will play without issue.

It is possible to fix the MP5's sound bug, but only through an end-user tweak.
