This seems to be the only MOD for live births and seems to have fallen the the wayside? Are you aiming to update this for Ascended?

I am one of the leaders of a community called TCI - The Crimson Isle - and we are looking for some MODS to be either updated or made. We have MOD teams for POT and are looking for one for ARK Ascended. Shoot me a DM :)

Is this mod coming to Ascended. I miss this alot as it allows me not to be present for each mammal birth.

Yes, any creature that does not gestate is not picked up by default, and I would have to add the exception manually like I did with the reaper. I will add Griffins as soon as I have a chance.

We have recently implemented the mod in our ARKSGARD cluster . everything seems to be working fine , that it claims Reaper babies is great . But we have already received several reports about it not claiming Grifo babies . we don't know if they are not included . We use the Classic Flyers mod that assigns a gender to them.

Hi Ootred, yes, she should pick up achatinas. She picks up mine all the time. To be honest, I'm not planning to implement the option to change the outfit, but if I'm not mistaken, I think you can change the color of her clothes. I don't remember, though, I may be wrong.

This is a fantastic idea! Great voice over for the reminders. Questions: Do achatina count as live birth? Mine were not picked up, however, they were podded for a bit first. Any plans to allow to change her outfit?

After testing on the local host I confirm that with the SS Mutator it works perfectly.
We will include it in the cluster in a test map for the last test. I will inform you about it.

So, I changed the logic so that the midwife should pick up baby reapers, but I couldn't test it because I don't yet have a mutator or a reaper. Can you test it for me when you have a chance?

Hi XSan75X, I didn't know you could use the mutator to breed reapers. I will see if I can make the midwife pick them up.

The mod that we use on the server is the SS, in the last update of September the Moder enabled the reproduction of the Reapers, but they cannot be claimed, we know of the other mod that does it but we like this one, thank you very much for answering me, we will continue attentive

Hi XSan75X, this mod only works with creatures that gestate. Reaper reproduction is quite unconventional. The only way to make this mod work with reapers is if someone make a mod that change the way they reproduce.

We are testing the mod to install it in our cluster, but it does not work with Reaper, the main reason for its installation.
Any chance of including them in a future update?

hahaha I wonder how many people don't know that a midwife is a woman who, mostly in the past, helped give birth to babies :) I guess I will change the mod's name to "Veterinary Obstetrician".

hi bubf, I guess I am the one who should apologize. I looked at the code and indeed it was not working. I didn't notice it because I never need any close to 50 slots. I tried a few different ways to fix it but I couldn't make it work so in the end I removed the option and increased the number of slots to 100. I hope this will be okay for now.

My appologies, that's what I meant. The range setting seems to work great, I currently have it cranked up to 100 and it pulls just fine. It's just the slot count. Thanks again.

hi bubf, the settings should go in the GameUserSettings.ini file.

Love the Mod, just a quick question. I pasted the settings into the GUI.ini file at the bottom. Everything works, but my midwife only has 50 slots instead of 300. Should it go high in the list? I did include the heading as well. Thanks again for the awesome mod!

Hi Yogurt, I managed to fix the problem with the character model disappearing in Single Player. Thanks for letting me know about this!

oh that's very strange indeed; I will have a look to see if I can reproduce this problem in single player.

Her character model disappears after I log out and back in on my single player. Thankfully she's still there with anything in her inventory, just invisible. Love the mod beyond that strangeness
