Hey Eliaz, may I ask why you're not planning on updating to 42? I've always loved this mod and I'd really like to keep using it going forward :c

I'm sorry guys but I'm not updating this mod to B42 or updating it to the curent B41 version... :(
If someone find the way to making it working correctly with stable B41, please PM me and I'll update it ;)

@Sam.H might not cause I play with both mods, this one here is in my usual mod list.
And I added Dynamic Traits with a new save and noticed yesterday that I didn't got any buff from reading the book, shame. :(

What about compatibility with other mods(B41)? I read books and multiplier to fitness/strentgh xp dissappeares

What are the Book ID's? Attempting to spawn them in with base.BookStrength1 does not work

Not sure if this is a bug or fantastically poor luck, but Strength III does not spawn for me. I've checked multiple libraries and book stores, and have every other strength book except strength III. The book store in Ekron taunted me by spawning all of them except strength III lmao

this is the only mod i have i started the game new and looked for about 6 hours and found alot of books but none of the fitness or strength ones

Love the mod, had some trouble getting the books to spawn in the world with my modlist.
I disabled 1 mod at a time and found that the Schizophrenia trait mod was the issue, as soon as I disabled it the books started to spawn in the world again. Hope this helps anyone having issues.

does it compatible with Dynamic trait?

Can you adjust the multipliers in the Sandbox options? I'm looking for something like this, but I feel the multipliers are a bit high.

This mod creates a minor but slightly annoying bug for me: if you start exercises with a weapon in your hands, the pawn puts this weapon in the slot on the back .... and creates a virtual copy in his hands. And does not want to practice while he has "something" in his hands - I have to "push the air" to free my hands every time I forget to remove the weapon from my hands myself. The main thing that is bizarre is that such a problem is only with the weapon that is in the cell on the back! If in the hands of any other item that does not go into the back slot - even any other two-handed weapon, but not mounted on the back.

@WolfiePwnzU, I have the same issue, but I don't think it's this mod's fault. Multipliers from "Fitness VHS Gains" also keep disappearing in my game like multipliers from book.

Getting a strange bug with this at the current build.
Picked this up for MP for B41.65 and works as intended.
However with the last few versions the skill bonus gets reset at each hour in-game?

For example I read a skill book and get a 7x multiplier, the skills page shows the arrows with the xp boost.
When it gets to 11:00 the arrows disappear and the skills page show I don't have a 7x multiplier.
If I begin to read the book (you don't have to read any pages you can instant cancel) then the 7x multiplier comes back with the arrows.
But once it hits 12:00 the multiplier and arrows disappear.

I've tested that this is actually applied and it's not just visual because the XP gains decrease with the loss of the arrows.
Losing the multiplier doesn't cancel exercise, the character keeps going.
This means I can't read a book to more than 90% of the bonus (306 pages of 340) because if I were to accidentally get to fully read then I would lose the multiplier forever.

Is the count still accurate? I've done about 9 sets of Presses going from level 5 to level 6 and I only have 10,000XP out of 30,000XP required.

I went ahead and tested this (SP). It seems to work.

I was looking to adjust the XP multipliers for this and noticed that in XPSystem_SkillBook.lua all skill books exist. So i can use this mod to adjust values for any book type if altered here?

unsure if its just me or not, but i cant seem to find this mod in the mod or workshop list in the server.

On an established MP server with people scattered around all over the map: Will the books spawn? Seeing as there are no 'newly explored areas', we have loot respawns enabled however but no one on the server has seen a Fit/Str book yet

Tested on a new fresh game and books are spawning, the mod is working well !
Remind : you have to explore new areas to find the books (or start a new game), areas "discovered" by the game are way birgger than the areas discovered by your character ;)

Me and my friends Put this mod on. We all think Str and fitness is a huge mountain for no reason for its difficulty to max out. We all checked maps and confirmed which area we havent visited. Luckily its the one with the school and the Community center. 60 + bookcases. 0 Str or fitness books. I dont know how rare these are meant to be but 0 out of 60 shelves feels crazy low. Got to give a Thumbs down. We are hoping the respawn we have turned on will effect the books and check again. But till then We believe this mod is broken.

The most recent update of "Dynamic Traits" has broken compatibility with "Eliaz Fitness and Strength Books B41"

Probably because of this update: "If an exercise has the Regularity maxed an XP multiplier will be granted. That multiplier will be lost if the regularity is decreased."

So after getting the xp multiplier from the books, the multiplier is immediately lost because of this change detecting exercise regularity.

Hi, i'm a new player of pz, i have a "bug" that i have lvl 2 strenght already read, but i have no bonus exp, for my level 3-4 is there a way to "reset" the book to re-read the book and gain bonus?

Thank you! Is there a way to adjust the book XP boost? With Gym Goer and Dynamic Traits it takes like 4x 60 min squats for my Fitness Instructor guy to go from lvl9 to 10.

Are there any known incompatibilities which prevent the books from spawning?
It was working fine, but I've since updated & added some mods, and now they don't seem to be spawning at all - I've even removed the mods I've added since I last saw them and they're still not appearing so I'm not sure where I've gone wrong :(

Apologies from me, it was working though it spawned the majority of it in Louisville's University Library.

And you have to acitvate the mod in your save, not in the main mod settings of PZ

Would it be possible to add compatibility with Authentic Peach's "Exercise with Gear" mod? I really like the books, but I prefer to keep tools in hand while exercising.

Yes I think they changed something about strenght XP, I noticed lower XP than before even with the Xp multiplier from this mod...
If I have time, I'll take a look and maybe adjust the XP multipliers to fit again with my table ;)

Do you have others mods that modify training XP ?
Maybe my table isn't good anymore since last updates, I didn't check but for sure the XP multipliers are working ;)
