@Zarkx you need to equip it with the transformation sequence Colossus weapon, then use that on a planet and it will transform there.

Thank you for reporting the bug.
Changed the deformation trigger of the ship so that it does not work except when the fleet is a single ship.

Regarding the deformation behavior of the ship, every time the planet destruction behavior is completed, random_existing_design is used to generate the deformed ship, and then the undeformed ship is deleted.

right then, tested a 2 strong fleet of mecha battleships that were freshly made - fine both ways.

5 strong fleet of experienced (rank) ships - crash after trying to deform

i therefore conclude that its either ship rank or saving them in mecha mode and trying to revert to ship afterwards, this seems unlikely though

ok, so they crash no matter how many are in the fleet so there are 2 possibilities i can think of

1) it the ship rank being the issue
2) its them being in not owned territory

well it no longer likes there being 5 mechas to deform...more mad science is needed

yeah willem, i think its if the fleet doesn't have enough fleet command spare for the spawned/alternate ships - less than 5 switch in and out freely in a fleet more or less ok, more than that seems to crash it

will re-launch and test it but its not the gas giant thing sadly, that'd be easy to fix

@samsockeater It'll crash if the thing's in a fleet, I tried transforming it in a fleet and it crashed, then I transformed it solo and it was fine.

the deformation from mecha to ship can crash - probably due to clicking a gas giant

maybe use a different mechanism to trigger the change to avoid this? ancient empires does something similar with a deploy-able turret and ships with abilities

Edit: I fixed every issue by simply changing the {JP} in your Descriptor file to [JP], it now not only shows up in Irony with name and all, instead of giving me an error, checking the Mod URL brought me to this page, it is also now properly showing up as a Steam Mod...

Also, there seems to be an issue with the Technology not showing up, I am Fanatic Materialist, have Titans, the Juggernaut, and the Synthetics technology, this mod also seems to have a blank name in Irony Mod Manager and it shows it is a mod from my computer, rather than a Steam Mod, and trying to open the mod in steam produces an error, I think something went wrong with the Upload, I've tried downloading it thrice, rebooted my computer, reloaded Irony, but the issue persists.

Deformation motion of the ship is not included. (It transforms in a way that the ships are replaced at the beginning of the battle)

Since it is difficult to incorporate an animation file at the time of modeling, I think that if you implement transformation motion, you will be able to gradually replace multiple "transforming" ships at the event.

Macross! This looks great, does this contains any customized transforming animation? I think you can have a video for it, people will be more likely to be attracted.
