This has been added into the game and I'm sure you're aware, but one thing the devs forgot is that we still have control over the prison. We can lock open doors, sack guard etc. and we can just do that. I haven't tried this out yet but I hope you've done something about this so it's a bit of a challenge PA style.

so we are trying to combine the esacapists with prison architect? . . .interesting

the devs of The Escapists and Prison Architect should mod both game allowing us to make the prisons with this game and then mod it for the other game to break out of hmm

add an option to steal tools weapons attack inmates and prisoners and break things and also remove the option to sack workers and to dump or dismantle things that would make this much better

This was what I was thinking a few days ago.
It would only work with multiplayer though.
One person is the prisoner. They try to escape/take over the prison and the other person controlls the whole prison like right now, then he has to stop them. After a few escape attempts the person controlling the prison has the option to execute the prisoner.

I am not sure what you can pick up and from where, but I know that you pick up stuff from the ground.
