Yes, it is meant to be more of a moving defense platform instead of a proper ship. I want it to fill a niche that doesn't replace any existing roles that other ships fill in such as the Asgard.

First of all, great mod.
Now to my Question: Is the valhalla supposed to only have a maximum travel speed of 657 m/s and a normal speed of 26?
I mean the ship is big, but those values seem a little to low ... .

Should work fine for 8.X as I don't think ship mods are affected.

Will the mod for vro be updated after its release for the 8x version of the game? Does the mod work for 8x versions of the game?

Those ships are using VRO's custom battleship icon. [i.imgur.com] Be sure you have the VRO Assets mod as well, and if it still does not work, it is most likely a mod conflict with another mod.

Only the MMBS with a 5% chance when they decide to create an L miner. The others are exclusive for the player to be built.

Vahalla is great because it feels like a beast, but the thing is so big the AI doesn't know how to fly it, hehe. Great ship, but unless it can teleport itself, it's not really that good.

Yeah, testing more shows that the fighters just hover in front of the docks, but don't make any attempts to approach the dock. The Kyoto is working fine for me, however.

I do, but the fighters just fly into the middle of the ships very slowly before saying that it failed to dock.

Do you have the Split Vendetta DLC? The Valhalla is currently using the Raptor's docks as a temporary measure.

Ah, unfortunately, it would appear the Vahalla is unable to field fighters. None of the fighters appear to be able to dock with the ship.

Problem with Valhalla crew, no crew can be add to ship in valhalla dock.
I make spaceport with all docking construction S/M,L,XL and XXL valhalla but only S/M, L, and XL can add crew.

That's an issue that several modded ships seem to suffer from, but there is no solution to it. It only seems to happen when docked though so it should not be much of an issue

It's something no one has a solution yet to, unfortunately. All the M-docks using the 6.00 docking system have the same problem so far.

Something new about the Kyoto docking? The M-ships are still stupid stucking at docking procedure. Could you fix this over time? (We talked about that along time ago) ...

Personally I think the Kyoto is absolutely amazing and a whole lot of sector-crushing fun. I just didn't get the sheer SIZE of the thing until comparing it to a wandering Asgard.

I did mention the scaling bit on the description, but in general as they all use the 50% size scaling from the extracted X3 model (Obviously still too large, but they are not meant to have surface modules and putting them on the proper scale will make everything incompatible such as turrets and even engines unless I create custom engines and turrets for each ship)

The only ship that is properly scaled is the Mobile Mining Base-Ship.

Maybe mention that the Kyoto is literally about 3-times the length of an Asgard and about twice as wide? This thing is an absolute monster. It won't fit in the XL fabrication bay.

I played around with a Kyoto and a bunch of fighters and corvettes so I can answer my own question: it works reasonably well. It takes a LONG TIME to load an entire supercarrier worth of fighters, but I saw no significant issues with doing so. My pilots were even zero-star pilots and thus were utterly handicapped from the beginning. I do believe I'll adopt one of these absolute beasts for my own!

It will have to be redesigned from scratch to properly fit surface modules. I decided to use this scale as the old engine bays fit the XL engines perfectly.

while i love kyoto in x3, its way too big for x4. if it could be smaller. to "fit" whole design. still bigger than other XL but not so stupidly big, that would be awesome

I seem to be unable to spawn the Kyoto with the cheat mod. Is it me or did you take it out of the menu?

Not really, the shape of most USC ships make them very difficult to port to X4 when taking surface modules (shields, engines, turrets, etc) into account so only a few have been put so far.

The mobile mining base ship, for whatever reason, I cannot get the mining drones to deploy to collect resources, or gas drones. At the moment it only works OOS. :(

To set expectations as early as now, the AI still has trouble using the system. I don't exactly know why but its still a lot better than the current implementation on the released version.
