@LeoVetta what Thane means is you forgot your public .bikey without that server that use verifySignatures will be unable to use it. it should be in your DSSignFile directory location with your .biprivatekey and please when you add it to your mod add it to a keys folder along side your addons folder.

Well @Flugabwehrraketensystem I already knew that issue, I know it's messy but otherwise you will not be able to have a good bright beam up to 100m - I actually don't know how to make an adjustable beam.

BTW: have you ever tried a real Peq illuminator beam on close range?
It's definitely bright...

Hi there, the close range beam seems to be extremely bright. I'm not sure what's causing it but it's impossible to see anything up close; it's like someone's using a normal flashlight on.
