I was so stumped. What a brilliant puzzle! Hands down the most favored puzzle I've played this year.

I knew what I needed to do, but for the life of me couldn't see how to do it.

totally stumped ,so far i can get a cube on the button to open the door but i cant figure out how to get the laser beam where it needs to be. hmm

Even I don't consider a single angled laser through a portal to be weird, especially since the Single Player Campaign uses it a bit.
I do, however, hate puzzles that require AWKWARD angles to hit many different relays and catchers to be garbage. The SP campaign does use that in that one puzzle, but it's simple and logical.
This, IMO, is more pure Portal than some of the Valve maps. :shrug: LOL

Aaarghh! I just checked the solution video and yup... I spent a LOT of extra time avoiding that solution because angled lasers through portals is something that is typically considered unintended by many/most legitimate authors and your description specifically stated that there was nothing weird or awkward.

I made it out the exit but wonder about one thing... is an angled laser through the portals permitted? Many folks find that to be questionable... ?

I'm very happy to hear you found nothing weird! I've always played around with different kinds of maps, sometimes weird stuff, sometimes not so weird stuff. At least I thought so lol
