"CA said that the newest patch (Power & Politics) will likely make ALL mods unplayable.
That is why they created the Patch 17 beta (right-click on the game, choose Properties, go to the Betas tab, click the drop-down and chose Patch 17 Beta), so that those of us who wish to skip the new update completely can do so, and thus retain full access to all mods made before/without the implementation of the new update."
First, just so you know, your cavalry mod has made my army! They're devastating no matter how I use them!
And second, I've been experimenting with the mod somewhat, because for some reason, this mod causes my game to just stay at the loading screen forever. I've been trying to find out why, but have had no success thus far. Just wondering if you could take a look at it whenever you get the chance. This mod completes my Spartan Army, and I'd be extremely disappointed if I couldn't use it any longer.
Thanks for your time and all the effort you put into this mod!
However, that is only for Attila. Ever considered making a Roman heavy infantry unit that actually looks really heavily-armoured, far beyond your existing Roman unit mods?
I was also wondering if you might consider other units like your Captain Alexos. That was such a brilliant idea, because historically there were a number of notoriously powerful mercenary companies throughout the world (some famous Greek mercenaries even fought for Persian nobles, for example), and every mercenary company had a Captain. It was a great idea on your part, and it's a shame you didn't follow up with many more.
Odd.
