I'm sorry, I didn't know about it not wanting to disable if you unselect it from the Addon menu ingame. I have noticed since the beginning when Contagion added mods that some don't always get removed if you unsub from them.

If the mod isn't deleting when you unsub, you can do it manually:

You can find all your Contagion addons in:

Steam\steamapps\common\Contagion\addons

Delete the nicolas cage flashlight.vpk


I'll look into not being able to disable the mod ingame.

Hilarious.
Even when firing I somehow see his face in my imagination.
Still stays on even if I turn it off in the Extras menu.
So if not using one must unsubscribe, then subscribe again if you want to use it again.

I have been searching the Workshop and Discussions to see if anyone else has had experience with thier mod not showing up for some people and the closest I could find was people having trouble with a mod not uninstalling or disabling.

possom2009 who created The Crosshair Flashlight has a workaround for it and though your problem is with the mod not installing and showing up, maybe this will work for you too.

Sorry I can't be much more help to you but it's hard to fix a problem that I haven't experienced yet in my game.

Hmm... perhaps try unsubscribing then subscribing again?

And, if it's not too much trouble, look in your Contagion Addons game folder:

Steam\steamapps\common\Contagion\addons

and look to see if the nicolas cage flashlight.vpk is indeed there.

Make sure you don't have any flashlight or other mods conflicting with this mod. Remember, unsubbing to a mod doesn't remove it from your game.
