Yes the random service does not work

Are you using the "select random service with this train" option? If it gives an error it just means that there aren't any timetables using the train, which usually is the case with new workshop trains (you'd have to make a new timetable yourself).

A consist not found only happens when a consist that was being used has since been deleted, so that can't be possible unless you've modified the train. My suggestion is that maybe the consist is too long for the stopping areas and you may have to take a few carriages off or try it as a light engine first before making a full timetable.

You load in the game and it won't let you drive it is says error

Could you please specify what error you're getting?
