I know this is marked discontinued, but a friend had me looking at it. One thing I've found is that the front_mat.png and right_mat files are indexed (P) and probably need to be RGB for the ores to work correctly The other mat files seem to all be fine.

Try to spawn without watermod, then add it and create water

I am having the same issues as Ofetios

When ever I try to spawn this planet in my world with or with out the water mod is has started crashing all of a sudden.

Im using agaris at war with this mod but none of the bases are spawning in when i get close

@darkice1982 create a world, then paste it in. If you look at the [MES] Agaris at War mod, it has better setup instructions

Have a problem with this since the latest update from keen.

Ive pinned it down to the map or the water mod, both water versions tested 2.0 and the latest 3.0. if im on a different planet its fine, but even if i goto planet agaris in view mode it starts spamming "spacecowboy was trying to cheat" in console constantly grinding the server to a halt.

Hello I am wondering if you are able to take away the Water Mod as a dependency for this mod. The way the dependencies work they get added lowest priority so I have to add the Water Mod manually anyways and I am wanting to switch to the new testing Water Mod. Thanks for this great mod and I am hoping to do an Ares System playthrough as soon as that is ready with the encounters and such!

Has anyone been able to get down to the Platinum with the new Water Mod 3.0? I haven't been able to design a sub or drilling platform that survives even a few seconds at 600m depth. I've tried to make it fully airtight, but there's always something that doesn't get counted as part of the airtight space and thus takes damage. If anyone's been able to get down to the Platinum with the new version of Water Mod, I'd love to see a blueprint of the vehicle you used.

Map link doesnt seem to work, and the NPC bases are not in the same locations for me (cant find any) based off of the map for the vanilla ores. I spawned the planet in, so that might be the problem. I figured they spawn by proximity to the player, and you could just spawn the planet and get the NPC stations and such. If I need to start the world via scenario, save and exit, then modify the game settings, which is how I got the vanilla ores version to work, I can do that, but its a pain.

Just a note: IO 1.6 added actual Sulfur ore (although you can still get it from refining Oil Sands).

I've started IO on Agaris at War and have just got to chemical refinery, but no sulfur on any of the Agaris maps that I can see? Is that right? You have to get to space before weapons?

Does sulfur spawn on the planet? I'm looking at the map and do not see any deposits.

Is platinum actually on this planet or no? I'm currently doing a grid pattern search in the ocean trench. Cobalt everywhere, but no platinum

I did that, ShaderCache2. There is no ShaderCache 1 (well unless you meant Nvidia one, I did delete that one too). I have no idea what is causing this issue. I tried different load order configurations. It did help with shore (sand) rendering properly. But now it won't render other resource textures properly

You may want to delete Shader Cache 2 instead of 1

Additional info: deleting shader cache caused purple and grey textures

Well this glitch came back. Now the ore's textures won't render properly. Already put this map (with Agaris at war) at the bottom of mod loader. It fixed for a while, but if you start mining again the "new" textures are low res. It seems like it is mipmap or lod issue. Any ideas how to fix it? Btw IO is at the top, this mod at the bottom with Water mod, MES and Agaris at War.

It seems that fidling around with load order help. Putting Industrial Overhaul above this mod helped.

Anyone else is experiencing low quality ground textures for this planet?
