Idk if this is the most unlucky lucky thing that has ever happened to me or what, but despite there being 115+ rare secret rooms I have gotten the same rare secret room 3 times in a row

i was worried about this mod because im a very vanilla+ kinda guy when it comes to mods but not a single one of these rooms ive encountered feels too over the top so well done

Disabled "Rare Super Secret Rooms!", immediately earned this mod

@Руинер if you use a lot of other mods that add new rooms, the amount of secret rooms increases a lot compared to super secret rooms, therefore making the rooms for this mod even more rare, that could be why

@Руинер the rooms are very rare, if you found every single secret room in a whole run, your still only likely to see one every 3-4 runs

every time I enter a secret room from this mod the game crashes.

These mods always crash the game for me randomly when using modded characters.

Got a bug report, the Secret (or is it a super secret? I forget, sorry) Room with Great Gideon + a Chaos Card will duplicate gideon if you accidentally re-enter the room, and if this happens a second time it seems to crash the game.

I'm pretty sure you can always unlock achievements as long as you defeat mom without mods on. So you do one vanilla run to beat mom and then you can use any mods you want.

Can you still unlock achievements with this mod?

The gideon secret room (which is both amazing and really OP btw) respawns gideon when leaving the crawlspace

Bug: The secret room with the dead Great Gideon in the middle spawns the trap door but Gideon just reappears so I can't get to it :/

Yeah, was kinda annoying how comparatively few secret/super secret room layouts there were, after filing out a single post-it note you'd likely had seen them all.
Glad to see a mod adding some more variety with some extra thought and care put in.

@sam I mean that the super secret room contain HP that can the be used in arcades and such.

and yeah personally i try to stick closely to the intended vanilla balance of the game so if you want things made easier via super secret room, then i think you have your own mod idea right then :)

@TheTurtleMelon arcades tend to do the bloodbag trick better, the donation machines even generate in normal floor layouts fairly commonly. as for the hp rooms, i think that's a little more my fault for preferring characters like the lost/forgotten lol. oh well, i guess i'll just have to do it myself ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

@sam the aim of this mod is not to make secret rooms better, its just to add variety and excitement to finding a rare room, i will probably make a version of this for Super Secret Rooms but it will be very similar to this mod and just add rare layouts that line up with the games current balance, not making them too much better or worse.

i think you may be underrating super secret rooms tbh, while they dont have many rooms and cant have items, they contain HP very often and this can be a run saver or allow you to get blood bag from a blood machine really easily as well as a lot of money, having fewer rooms in the super secret rooms is what makes them so reliable and useful
