So I am currently rebuilding the boss 302 and car part 2 will not line up with the hood. Doesn't matter which one I use it sits about 4 ft above the car and moves with the hood so it doesn't line up period. Anyone know how to get it fixed?

Nevermind, I finally found it. It's the chrome around the rear windshield. So hard to spot!

Love the mod, but I can't find "car part 3" for the 1969 Shelby GT350. Apparently it's installed and at 38%, but I thought I stripped this thing down to nothing, and never saw it. What is it even supposed to be?

Idk why, but for some reason no matter how much i tune up the car, the top speed remains stock (177kmh/110mph). So far this only happens to the Mach 1s and 429s and all ohv engines except the coyote and the superchaged. Even with a custom gearbox with 9 gears and max speed of 300 mph, it burns through them fast and caps at stock speed.
I have to also mention I have the QOL mod and the TK Aftermaket, so I believe it may have had something to do with it

@ C.Mike.Rack do you have the Ford Remastered DLC? Might also need Drag Racing DLC for the engines.

Ridiculous that the required DLCs to the right of the "Subscribe" button don't have a full view, can only see part of the top 1. This has been a problem with Steam forever.

In the latest few days I keep getting a save game error offering me to either quit the game or delete all my modded assets and continue oin without them (big white and red screen when loading in). This seems to apply specifically to this one mod with the Mustangs. Any others with experience? I kinda love the Mustang...

Bought the base model carcass from a salvage sale, fixed it up and painted it, but the roof and strips below the doors are still showing as rusted. Any fix ideas?

I try to swap the engine with the v8 ohv ss and it is on the swap options but it wont let me place the engine in :(

I don't have the Ford DLC in car mechanic simulator 2021 for the 1969/1970 Ford Mustang car mod, but i have the Ford DLC in car mechanic simulator 2018. The car mechanic simulator 2018 is my older Play Wa/Red Dot games i have that.

I think it's the "me, me, me" generation created by social media. How many times have we posted fixes, only for the next post to ask the same question? Many people today seem to post without reading anything.

Everyone with dummy engine is the real dummy cause they don't pay attention to the required DLC.

I have had this mod for a long while. Love the cars especially the Boss...
But now none of the cars have engines, just "Dummy" even the ones I own.

I'm having this same problem. Tried tearing the front end apart and putting it back together in various orders. I can't get car part 2 on this car.

can't put V8 2carb OHV Supercharged into 1969 Shelby GT350? the car has everything else in it, engine won't go in? there is no option to select it on the engine jack

Love this mod, but the game keeps removing from game after a car is moved to parking. Not sure if it is this mod, but it says error 1969 & 1970 Ford Mustang and deadbob777. Any suggestions what may cause this? I have all DLC including Ford remastered. Thank you!

It's a shame this needs the Ford DLC now, but I guess I can just buy it later

As one of my favourite mods, I have several of each, each tuned to suit different tracks, and poof a couple of dozen have lost all performance parts. Good thing the GT40 is such a lemon, now I can spend time with these guys getting them back to track ready.

Did you double check that it's the correct trim for that specific hood? And if it is, did you try leaving and coming back after installing it?

just FYI... Car Part 2 for Painted Hoods F & G is floating. I would include an image file, but Steam won't attach it.

Wow! I just restored a '69 Shelby GT500 Cobra and was blown away. Nice job!! There's what, 35 liveries?! And I must agree it's one of the best Mustang designs they ever produced. Thanks for this fantastic mod!

This mod seems to need the Nissan DLC (seats in the RTR-X).

hm, it didnt for me, actually made it almost 0,7sec slower, vmax also lowered from 660kmh down to under 600 :( also i cant get it back out of my garages, it gives me an errormessage "body not found"

Because lowering the power actually made it faster on the strip.

@ Patrofski all mod body parts are in the Community Body Shop. They can be difficult to find when mods (such as this) offer so many variants but they are there. :)

Nice mod, but when i want to replace body parts on the vehicle, where do i find the parts? like which store in game? because i have checked both the body mod shops in game and none of them offered parts for this car
