The original mod had its hair.mtl file as an opaque type. Changing it to a hair type file will make the hair stand out too much, as it will be too glossy compared to the rest of the body.

looks great with no problems. but you could improve it by editing the hair,mtl to be Hair instead of Opaque in the Type tab. it'll make the hair shine and look good without adding anything to the Specular Map. (thought i'd point that out.)
