It still works with dynamic traits if you read all but the end the read for a quick second before you exercise to reaply the modifier.

How to control reading speed? I subscribed to a mod reduced the pages of vanilla books, I don't know how to change the mod book reading speed.

Yeah, this mod is incompatible with Dynamic Traits. I'm assuming it's because Dynamic Traits checks your weight every so often and checks for a modifier on certain skills such as long blunt when you reach a certain level in it (Something like that, it's been a while since I've played it). It probably overwrites this because it looks at all skills and doesn't take into account strength/fitness skill books. Not sure how to go around this, but I haven't really had time to look at it, and I never really got a response from the dynamic traits mod author about it.

Mod seems to be broken, possibly because of Dynamic Traits? The bonus xp multiplier just dissapears after a few seconds.

for some reason when i got to level 6 in fitness and then after read the fitness book i cant get any xp .

Hey I don't know if this is possible but is there a way you could prevent the mod "Book Consumer" from instantly granting levels for these books? Book Consumer allows you to instantly gain one level then a xp multiplier for the second level for every book you read. When I used it with this I was being granted the level still for my fitness and strength which I found to be too op.

That's probably it then, although what doesn't make sense to me is that you can use other book mods with no issue, it must be inbetween levels then.

After reading the Showcase for Dynamic Traits, I learned that it adds XP multipliers for achieving regularity with exercises. I believe it is overriding your book's bonuses.

cdda reading (mod option required version) isnt working and caused this mod to also not work, without cdda reading this mod is working.

Not even one of the lower tier fitness books in schools? You might be extremely unlucky or you might be using a mod that has an outdated version of the ItemsDistribution file. If you suspect it's a mod conflict make a new save with the same mods with literature items set to abundant and see what happens, if not check to see if any mods that haven't been updated in a while are loaded (I don't remember how long, it was either .52 or .53 that changed item distros)

raided 2 schools and police stations and never found the books. mod might not be working on the latest version... could be a mod conflict though.

No errors appeared to show, and the other books/skills are not affected. I think the issue might be how Dynamic Traits handles passive skills, but I'm not sure.

Any errors? It's weird that this is affected by the Dynamic Traits mod since it's only an xp book mod, are you also having issues with other books?

Generally no fitness/strength related traits, but the issue persists regardless of starting traits from my experience.

The mod isn't compatible with the Dynamic Traits mod. When gaining exp the multiplier gets removed.

It sounds to me like some sort of weird mod incompatibility, try running this mod by itself and see if you still have the issue. I tried it myself that way and it worked just fine.

@Regisky It's any book, once you have the multiplier, it will vanish after a moodle comes up, sleep, or quit the game, and if you completed the book you can't get it back. I noticed though that maxing out a exercise grants it's own multiplier, so hopefully when that get applied, so will the book bonus.

I figured out my issue was a file that i modified myself to up the spawn rate of the books in a single player game i had. And when steam downloads the workshop content they don't redownload it to the game itself but rather to a workshop file that is outside the game. I needed to copy that and paste it back into the correct directory for the mod to work.

Is there any specific book you guys have this issues with, or just any book in general?

I also have a similar problem with the multiplier vanishing and unable to reread the book to get it back. I'm trying to get an exercise to max regularity to see if that makes it appear again.
