Yes, there appears to be a "loadBefore" and "loadAfter" section in the manifest file, separate from dependencies. I will look into that, please load this mod after CoC Factions manually for now.

Updated - patches if CoC Factions is present to up the range of the weaponmoney for LostPlatoon pawns; they should receive the full variety of items. It will need to load after CoC Factions, obviously.

Now, after further testing and making sure the Mod is fully updated, I have successfully discovered that the Lost Platoon receives proper WWI rifles.

The problem is that I only see the same three rifles again and again: the Type Fourteen, the Chauchat Gun, and the Bordchat-C93.

I don't think this is the fault of this Mod, but rather, the "Weapons Price" setting on the Pawn Kinds Definitions allotted to individual Soldiers of the Lost Platoon. It will rpobably take a Patch for fix it, but it's worth noting.

Updated - all guns now SimpleGun, verified CallOfCthulhu_InfantryGun tag, I tested directly against the mod this time, I'm seeing the Lost Platoon pawns armed with the various weapons.

Advanced Guns include things like the Vanilla rendition's LMG guns; that tag is for the most powerful Industrial-level guns in the game. Simple Guns cover things like Bolt-Action Rifles and Revolvers.

Okay, I tested it out and NONE of the weapons have the Tag.

I tested a small sample: the Beretta M1918, the Lebem 1886, the M18, the Ice Axe, and the Trench Shovel. NOTHING has the " CallOfCthulhu_InfantryGun " Tag on my end. I checked the code using RIMMSQOL, and none of them are there.

Also, you have the " IndustrialGunAdvanced " tag for the WWI guns. WWI guns are old-timey and use bolt-action rifles (etc.), meaning that THEY ARE NOT ADVANCED. The CORRECT Tag for an old-timey gun is " SimpleGun ".

Hey dude! I wanted to offer you an opportunity to add a special Tag to your Mod.

As you know, Weapons can be tagged to show up in certain ways. There exists a Mod that adds a WWI Platoon as a Faction, and it could REALLY use your work!

Please consider adding the Tag " CallOfCthulhu_InfantryGun " to each of these items (even if they aren't guns) in order for the WWI Faction to use them! It would be so cool to see authentic WWI weaponry on a WWI Faction!
