FAO other fans of town mods, I also just discovered among my downloaded mods an amazing Old Hroldan remake called something like "Shezries' Old Hroldan" (file name ShezriesOldHroldan.esp/.bsa) .

I can't find it anywhere in my subscribed mods though, so I can't rate it... But if you find it, get it!

Now that I've actually been there I can say: fantastic town mod!

I did notice that "barracks" is misspelled "barrack's".

I haven't been to Granitehall yet, I hope there are no conflicts with ThirteenOranges' version...

@TheWildNaked: You become thane of Riften (talk to the Argonian at the Riften docks who is addicted to Skooma, and do that questline) and then you enter the Steward's tower on the second tier of Eastern Sunguard and ask for a house from him. He gives you the key.

I was just walking down the road and came upon this really nice little town. I forgot I'd downloaded it. What a wonder surprise and I may just move in and stay a while. Thanks.

Did you know that ThirteenOranges also made some mods to add towns from Arena into Skyrim?

He did Granitehall as a ruined fort with a creepy dungeon quest.

Very well designed, feels lived in, natural part of the environment, designed is small but well thought through and managed, make it feel much bigger. Genuinely i am impressed with all the series, you are wasted on games, please come and talk to Edinburgh City planning authority

Decent mod. It's a very small town. Everything feels like it's compacted and tight (narrow). Everytime you talk to someone they say, "need something." I noticed you can't invest in merchants here. Also, a grinder or grind stone to sharpen weapons is missing. It would also be nice if you could add an enchantment table somewhere. There's a horse but you can't buy it. Oh, and when you buy a room, the inn keeper doesn't take you to your room like the other inn keepers in the game do. That's all I've noticed so far. One other thing, it would be cool if you could make the road signs have Sunguard on them because I noticed none of them had it making it feel like it doesn't exist.

How can you become thane of it or buy house there?

You probably already know this but, I'm gonna fill you in anyway. The Imperial Library is an excellent place for gaining knowledge pertaining to The Elder Scrolls.

Not many people know abou TES:Arena much less have actually played it. I like previous mentioned locations and lore.

Nice mod. Looks like an early middleage town. Dimensions of houses and paths are perfect.

if you can't understand his english due to misplacement of words/ slightly "warped" grammer then you apparently have a very poor understanding of the language yourself as the few mistakes he did make are easily made and understandable....ergo quit trolling ya f***s

I speak and write five languages though English is my primary language. It is also one of the most difficult to understand due to its many exceptions. Just enjoy the game guys.....keep the outside world out......

I love mods like this. The Jarls must own more than a single capital and a small town. The design of this city fits well with the Fort as well. I will be trying out this mod soon enough.

As usual I see a lot of people defending his English. But when I go back and read through several pages of comments I don't see any negative remarks about his English. You peopple need to STFU and quit making the appearance of trouble where there is none.

I respect you for the work you've done in creating these cities. Once I beat my current file, this is being added for my second char, alongside Moonpath to Elsweyr and other large content expansion mods.

I also apologize for anybody who may seem ignorant of the fact that you do not speak English as your first language. It seems that people forget that there is a much larger world than the one we call USA, and that "Skyrim" is an internationally acclaimed game.

I respect his endeavour to communicate4 despite his difficulties, I applasufd his excellent effort, I understand him, I came here looking for information about the mod but instead I have read BS from small minded wipers of other peoples bottoms.

I don't care if his english is not good or good i care about the mod he create and what matter is what he contributes to skyrim cause other people dont see that instead they insult the english of this people and you can say youre good in english but you cant do what this people do and other people didnt appreciate what people do yeah skyrim xD

The English is completely fine, it does not impede meaning at all (if you think otherwise, you may want to get your eyes checked). I didn't notice any problems at first, and reading through a second time I could still understand everything even with the few errors that do exist. Infact, the English is actually much better than that of many native speakers.
