Any plans to add a 10k/25k prestige/piety option? would be pretty nifty for those heavily modded games or very late games :P. Oh and maybe a 500 renown and 1k renown option too pretty pls.

Hi, often in my game I would want either to have the decision come back sooner than 4/5 years as it is OR be able to exchange more ressources (piety/prestige) in one operation (the biggest I wanted to trade was 15k in my current playthrough). I'm assuming the second aspect is more in line with your current style of converting ressource. If you think that could be implemented, it could be, for me, very interesting. And also, I was wondering why the renown option "max" is only for +400 renown. If it's for balance purpose I understand but feel it rather weak since in the late game you can win like 2k renown per month. Thank you anyway for the great mod which made me finally after all those years stop thinking that those numbers do not serve any purpose anymore when they are so big per month (or also called my personal asking "why can't I use prestige/piety to convert in other resources types?" when I have so much of them and not so much of others.).

Released an update:
- Rebalanced the interest rates for loans and investments; loans are now actually worth taking since they are a lot cheaper, investments are no longer money printers
- Added more options up to 5000 for direct conversions
- Added 2000 gold loan and 150 gold investment

Strange. There is not Chinese translation so it should just use the same English text if you have the game on Chinese. What kind of error does it cause?

Try to unsubscribe and then subscribe again. Sometimes it doesn't realize the files have been changed.

There is an option to convert renown into gold, prestige and piety (and vice versa) at the same time, but not only prestige.

Oh yeah, that's an interesting idea! Unfortunately, I do not have the time to work on any major updates right now, but I will keep that in mind, if and when I get the chance to work on this again.

would it be possible to have the rewards and costs scale more based on title rank? getting 1000 gold right out of the gate as a one county count with only a mayor as a vassal for a bit of tyranny is kinda op, and its weird that extorting your vassals as a count or a king gives the same amount. maybe add different decisions that can only be picked if you are at the title rank in question?

@Rahko I am having a similar problem to @Dallan, where the event from my mod will sometimes fire when using your decision, and sometimes the reverse will happen. did you use the norse god choosing event as a base for the resource conversion event? maybe it has some conflicts with other mods that use similar types of decisions and events

Ah! Good catch. Yeah, I just tried it once and noticed it worked and didn't give it any more thought, but it makes sense it could have some conflicts. I'll look into that as soon as I can.

Hey there - I've been getting user bug reports of events from your mod firing when events from mine should have been, and while investigating them I thought "hmm, sounds like a namespace collision" and turns out, it was a namespace collision.

You have an event in your namespace with the ID convert_resources_events.00, and when I renamed it to convert_resources_events.22 and redirected the decision accordingly both your mod and mine started behaving normally again.

The game seems to behave unpredictably with events with an ID of 0 in their namespace - I'd encourage you to avoid using non-numbers or the number 0 in event IDs, that might help with some of the issues a glance at the comments are suggesting?

Mod does not work anymore. Either the even doesn't fire and decision goes on cool down, or you get event message about some sort of guest dying in a feast.

The game itself was also updated recently. That is the most likely source of conflicts, since those can many times cause issues, because some of the core game files are changed and the save files with mods don't know how to "recalculate" those changes.

it's probably a mod conflict but i've been having the same issue the pop up fires whenever i or an A.I. win a war i haven't added any new mods since this issue started but it's probably from another mod updating.

Also, what comes to renown, do note that calling a dynasty member as an ally to a war costs renown. So that's probably where the renown is disappearing.

That sounds very strange. I'm having zero issues, AI not using the decision, renown not being used, no children with 2k gold, no events being fired on their own. Even some other mod conflict sounds strange, because this is a totally independent mod and doesn't conflict with anything (unless they for some very stupid reason used the same names in their mod files, which wouldn't just make any sense). So, my conclusion is that there must be some sort of file corruption from either old save or from the update. Try unsubscribing, waiting a couple of seconds (so the mod files are undoubtedly deleted), then resubscribe. If it still continues, try playing only with this mod and add other mods one by one to see where the mod conflict (which doesn't make sense) happens. If this mod doesn't work even alone without any other mods, then you must have some file corruptions in your Crusader Kings files themselves, and you need to repair or reinstall the whole game.

If it's any help, my character is of English culture, so I do a lot of Romance schemes to up the Renown generation.

Also, the game keeps firing the event without myself loading the event.

Hmm...Sounds very, very strange. First of all, I have indeed not coded any kind of AI behavior for the mod, and there is a line of code that precisely prevents the AI from using the decision. Also, war deducting renown doesn't sound like anything this mod does at all. But maybe I'll do some digging...

I tried again today and I notice also that most of my sons and daugthers are getting loaded with money without any income. We are talking 6 years or 12 years old with 2K gold...
I just saw how 200 renown going down with no war so I figured that the only thing that could do that are dynasty members using it.
If anyone else can test it...

Yeah, I've noticed that winning a war deducts Renown from my Dynasty. Is this a thing or is this an error, or could it be another mod I have installed causing this?

No. The AI should not use it. They shouldn't even know which options to choose, because I haven't coded any AI behavior in it.

I found it. It was the Unofficial patch.
Another thing I found... I keep loosing renown. Is the AI (other members of the family) able to use this and steal my renown for their use??

@Switching Doom if translations do not load properly, then unsub this mod wait a few seconds and sub it again. If steam starts a download it should be fixed.

This is a workshop bug which occurs sometimes.
