Is there a possible ETA on when these mods will be updated? I'm just asking because this mod is really good and has changed Shogun 2 for me. There's no rush; I just want an update on whether it's being updated. I know things take time, and you're dealing with settling down.

Hello, I really apologize, I promised to fix the mod after CA updated but I haven't had time, the dates didn't help either and I recently replaced my monitor. I haven't really abandoned these mods, I'm planning to fix them, but I haven't been able to find the time to do so.

Does anyone know how to turn off the arrow trails I find them very annoying and inappropriate? For now i just disabled the Effects Packs because i have to be honest this trails hurt my eyes.

Oh, I found it, that actually also because of this mod.
In the first picture with ONLY effect mod activated, you can see cannons cost more, and line infantry upkeep increased to 105 gold

In the second picture, pure vanilla/no mod, the values are normal. And line infantry upkeep go back to 95 gold

I also spotted weird gameplay change without installing the gameplay mod, like upkeep increase for unit in campaing or unit cost in custom battle. Are you aware of it ? I can take some screenshots if you want.

I don't know which of your graphics mods is causing it tho.

why do the mods not let me select them

That means that there is no working fix out there then as the afromentioned mods only seem to work for the bow ashigaru. Samurai and special bow ashigaru (e.g. Oda bow ashigaru) still fire cannons.
Thanks for your help anyways. I'll try if I can get it to work somehow with the modkit as it's clearly a game issue, not your modpack.

I get no results if I search for "arrow_bow_fix".
The closest things that pop up are ArrowCannon_sound_fix, Sinfonia Semplice and Cannon Sound Killer.
I already tried the first two with the mentioned results.
Cannon Sound killer would just remove the sounds alltogether.

look in the workshop for a quite old mod called Arrow_bow_fix, it solves it.

I love the mods so far so thank you fro this beautiful revamp for the game. :)
MY only problem are the sounds atm. With the sound fix, Ashigaru bows sound fine, but samurai archers still fire imaginary cannons each salvo. :/
Is there a specific version I need to get all units sounding correctly or is there nothing out there atm?

If you ever installed Darthmod your scripts folder is ruined and you have to reinstall everything in a totally clean and minuscule way, I have realized that with only one time that mod has been installed you can have problems like this with some other mod, I do not know the because it makes a modification like this to the scripts folder and because it made it permanent.

I'll try to be more specific, some units require two buildings to recruit. When i activate this mod i can recruit them without additional building. For example, Takeda fire cavarly needs stables and proving grounds to recruit. With this mod i can recruit them without proving grounds. Is this normal?

That is a problem that the shogun has had since it came out when installing a mod, it is random and nobody knows why, there is a mod in the workshop called arrow_fix that solves it.

I'm not sure where to post it, but I think it should be under the 'Effects' submod

All the bow troops have gunfire sound when shooting
I subscriped to every submod from this pack and followed the instructions for the zip file
this is the only mod I have

Anyways, this is a great mod! Thank you for making it

i also had this with my ikko ikki playthrough , i did not have gunsmith but was able to recruit matchlock monks once i had a level 2 ikko ikki temple

Is this normal? Because when I activate this mod i can train Takeda fire Cavalry without proving ground. I dont have gameplay mod active only effects mod. Also when I was playing Ikko-Ikki i could train matchlock monks without gunsmith.
