I found how to get the relic guys, the eastern part of the map isn't blocked off if you go past the scorpions that are gonna hurt your infantry you can take out if you've got ranged. Green spawns a big army, if everyone's not defeated yet you get to a hut where you find a monk who gives you a transport to the relic. I beat the avar campaign too, it was fun. I've got high hopes for the Spanish March, only, this is really minor but Barcelona didn't have ties to Rome or Byzantium so they should've been Saracen or Spanish, and the Basques trace themselves to the Celtiberians in Spain long before Rome; they would be Celt not Gothic. Roland is famous for his charge in the Spanish March, I'm anxious to see him come back later in the scenario.

I can't scale the area to reach the relic no matter how many crevasses I get into and trees I clear.

You get so many units it's impossible for the other players to overpower you the rest of the game, and you're way over your population limit. But I guess a bug doesn't let you get the third relic. It's in the mountains near some forest, I built towers close enough to find the area, but even if you get every tree the game lets your lumberjacks get off the mountain, you still can't scale it. And you can't go the other way because you can't build docks. There's also no monk there.

Awesome campaign! Everything has been going smoothly until the third scenario, the saxon kings resign at the start of the game, then huddle around your town and block your mine and the bridge. I set to at first rely on mangonels and walling them then I realized they have to reach the castle. So i destroyed my palisades and gates to do it easiest, they got inside and I massacred some of them. Others were still outside while it took a long time for my new units to be able to move outside the square, it took an hour but I eventually got everybody.

Why not give imperial age in the fifth scenarios?

@adam.chudzik758: The scenarios' AIs should be included in the campaign file, so don't worry. Everything should run as intended.
You don't need to disable any DLC, the game will automatically run the campaign in the regular Age of Kings/Conquerors mode.

Hello, I got a few questions to you, guys (especially to AoF Yan)
1) Must I have both versions (that means) "Charlemagne" and "Carolus Magnus" subscribed or only "Carolus Magnus" is needed? I don't know what you mean guys by saying thah AI link is broken. In my version everything is looking allright. But I may be in mistake. Could somebody tell me if I need both subscribtions or only one to play.
2) Must I disable the Forgotten now? In my cause, "Carolus Magnus" is working without disabling. Thank you guys, for help ;)

Ah, I get the point now. Enough kings have to reach the palissade square within your town to trigger the diplomacy change. But in order to do so they need to get through the gates. Which they don't because of their neutrality(?). Anyway, I kept the gate open with a unit, kings walked in, diplomacy changed and my army made short work of it.

Yeah, I got the same problem as @Shadowspooky. Saxon Nobles resign at the beginning of the game. Later on a shitload of kings block my town. I guess I have to "massacre" them, but diplomacy settings are fixed on Ally. Nothing will cross the bridge because of the lightblue buggers and I can't remove them. Quite annoying..

No. All text is in the scenarios, so it won't be easy to translate either. The official campaigns have it separated in txt files.

Terminator@ Idk how to edit/add more files here, or if it's even possible. So i made the other upload(it has 6th bonus mission btw) but that one won't show in your custom campaigns if you enabled AoF.
You see this one duplicated because it was made an year ago before this bug was solved. If you check it both are the same(mission progress).
Cihangir Akkurt@ Balancing is hard to do, but there are harder missions later.

Second map is very easy, I only marched to lombard capital crushed the castle and won. Didnt bothered with byzantines just sent the 500 gold.

The relic is in the southwest in Muslim(green) camp. You have to use a transport ship to go there. Also the Archbishop must be alive for the quest to be active.
You have to garrison a unit in Carloman's(orange) castle to complete the quest.
SPOILER: He tells you that he won't give you anything though.
I'll take your suggestion for the AI into account.
Btw have you played the rest of the missions?

Hey so just played the first level and I liked what I saw. It was pretty cool - nice build and destroy scenario with some triggers and mini-quests spread around.

I beat the level, but could not figure out how to do the optional relic quest ( I searched the whole map and pretty much killed everything, but still couldn't figure out how to complete it). Same went with the optional quest to ask the orange computer for aid - it told me to go to the castle and meet the king, but when I did nothing happened).

The only other critque I could give is that the AI attacks are a bit relentless. Its pretty much long periods of the AI not doing anything followed by a massive non-stop rush of units until a certain set of builfings is destroyed or a point captured. If you could break up the attacks and make them a little more diverse I think it would go a long way to improving your game.

It works now. It might have been due to my playing it on hard instead of standard. Not sure if it is bugged. Would be nice if you could make it a bit harder btw :)

Just tested it and it's really too hard, that wasn't intended. I get to the base at about 30mins game time. This was way too much for the ai to get strong economy and train a lot of units.
I can fix it with reducing the starting villagers/resources of the ais and increasing the tribute from yellow. But idk how to update the file here and i'll have to upload a new version.
Feel free to give me feedback, if there were bugs on the other missions too or just your personal opinions!

Hi, I am playing standard I think. The other scenarios were ok. It took me about 7 tries to get to the base :p. I thought once there I would get a foothold and it would be gravy. Wrong, they just keep on coming. They seem to target my town centre and mill. I am currently holding them off by building walls at crossings. but I feel I am fighting a losing battle. It is just relentless. If I get any sort of foothold it will be grand. Toughest play I have experieneced so far. On that front, good job :D.

What difficulty have you played and are the rest scenarios a lot easier? Also where did you get slowed at the start or after getting the base?

You can invest only in castles and build them on the river crossing, that way you'll secure most of the map for you, then you can push on their castles with siege.

The first one in the series, it says player 6 file builder resign.per could not be loaded
a lot of nothing happens and makes the scenario very easy :P
