I love this idea. Knowing your designs, you usually have something intended to mate with areas like this. I am playing with a friend, and we were thinking of using this as a heavy lift from orbit and bringing down an HV or small modular base for farming POIs. Do you have anything designed for this ship? Also, and most importantly, thank you for the fantastic designs and sharing!

Does anyone know how to put the crystals that way? When I place them, some look dark from the outside and others light.

Sadly a SV can't carry other SVs, at least mine wouldn't start with another SV landed on top (Vanilla Game Version 1.7.9).

@Efugee you can make one yourself. It is easy to copy the SV over a starter CV block and replace the devices as needed. Redecorate inside as it suits yourself and enjoy flight.

Thanks Sentient_Worm. Sorry about that. I haven't been looking at comments as much as of late. Right now I been working on a new starter CV and maybe a POI or 2. I would like to work out a new SV that could be good with RE for a combat role or something similar to the Skaar-Glaive in toughness and weapons. I will think on that one. @Myrmidon, I will have to test the drone again. It's been a while. I first started using the small opening on the Merc-MX1 and it seemed to work so I assumed it still worked that way. But that was some time ago and many changes were made to the game since then. I will test the drone hatchs again to see if they can work as intended. And thanks again all!

@jrandall This is the only way I use it. But renders that hatch useless. You can spawn the drone inside the cabin in the back and then guide it through one of the port/starboard doors.

The delay in responses is likley why your confused.
I was asking that in response to a request I made for an RE compatable SV capable of handling the combat zones that are restricted.

Thank you Sentient_Worm and Myrmidon! @Sentient_Worm, I did check it out and didn't see an issue with it. I am little puzzled. @Myrmidon, the trick is to jump under the hatch. At the top of your jump, hit F5 to release the drone. It will not fly thru the hatch, but one you jump launch it, it actually spawns on the outside of the ship and works then. I hope that helps. Does anyone managed to fly drone though drone hatch? If yes how? It seems it can not fly through it.

Thank you ŁōãŦ and SoDak! @SoDak, You can dock a HV to a SV only if the SV is not docked to anything. On the ground, no issue, but in hangars, you have to undock the SV and lift up a bit, then dock the HV. I hope that helps. And thanks again all!

Testing her on RE. I think she needs two more medium jet thrusters to be able to properly stop when she is fully loaded. As she is default the forward thrusters do not permit to stop in time.
