Yep, still causing game crash on death. Everyone on the server gets disconnected if someone dies.

No idea if this is a bug or not but i'm running this with other mods as well, I am using a modded truncheon and when i equip a binding and the trunch and knock out an NPC it immediately goes to my inventory before the body hits the ground. Unequip the binding and it works like normal. Either way great mod!

This needs to be the future, Right here. I'm so happy to see this mod working! Thank You!!! If we can pickup a foal, a baby rhino, and even an honest to God baby elephant, then I imagine something like the thumbnail should be doable! Heck, I killed a giant spider and found a Yeti corpse on it! That was in the dregs... I have no idea where it got it from! All I know is this game does not follow any consistent since of scale. While dragging a captured foe is fun and realistic, the immersion is immediately broken when you mine a whole mountainside and stuff it in a little wooden box. If Funcom wants to make this game more immersive and realistic while maybe adding some challenge and logistics, then this game needs sleds, wagons, stockpiles, and capturing and transporting things should have a heck of a lot more options. Until then, just let me stuff it all in my pocket dimension!

Confirming that the mod is partly dead - only one thrall at a time can be picked up

A warning about this mod. You can only keep 1 unconverted thrall in your inventory. If you pick another, the other one will vanish, but it will still weight in your inventory, making you have to die to get rid of it. So DO NOT pick more than one thrall at a time, but you can move them to your thrall's inventory by moving the curso on top of the item(thrall) and pressing SHift+Z, though this aparently overwrites the first item in your thralls inventory (It is literally deleted). To return it to your inventory, just hover on it and press Shift+Z, it doesn't bug nor deletes itens in your inventory.

Bottom Line: Only pick one thrall at time, if you want more, make sure your thrall or pet has the first iventory slot empty, hover on top of the thrall in your inventory and press Shift+Z, that will move your thrall to your pet/thrall first inventory slot. So far that is making the mod work as "intended" without back fire.

Mod half dead, u can only pick up one thrall after that if u pick up any other thralls they will replace the one in ur inventory.

So far I've only been able to pick up one thrall. After that it just replaces the one in my inventory with whatever one I knock out next. So it kinda works....

Safe to say this has become an abandonware, Modder's been MIA for awhile now. I have no modding experience but I'm sure someone could pick this apart and make a new one...

@GulagVictim And placing thralls using the hotkeys in anything larger than a lesser wheel of pain overwrites all previous ones. They may show in the queue as "training" but they will disappear visually off the wheels, and won't be retrievable when done. The first in queue could still be done without issue using hotkeys from inventory, but all subsequent ones must be placed as originally intended in game by dragging them with the ropes/chains. Otherwise, still working.

While it works (somewhat) for me, the hotkey does indeed not work on any modded thrall breaking places, worked fine on a medium wheel of pain.
The problem for me is that i can only pick up 1 thrall in my inventory, if i knockout another, the one already in my inv gets replaced by the new one.

Can't use the mod at all, hotkey doesnt do a thing.

Hopefully someone else finds this useful... It seems that that when you pickup a thrall, the mod places it in inventory slot 0 (the first or top left slot of your inventory when in custom arrangement). If you happen to already have an item there the thrall will overwrite it. If you attempt to pickup another thrall it will overwrite the first thrall which is located in slot 0. This seems to limit us to one thrall in inventory. You can also capture a second thrall and just keep them tethered and drag them as per usual. When placing them into a wheel of pain, keep note of the wheel's inventory slot 0. If you open the wheel's inventory, any dragged thralls will automatically be placed in the first available slot in most cases slot 0. If you try and transfer the inventory thrall using shift Z, it will overwrite whatever is inventory slot 0. I suggest that you always keep a disposable item in your wheel of pain's slot 0. This way it can be reserved for any inventory thralls you bring in.

It is not supposed to work that way, but Unfortunately, the Mod needs updating and the mod creator has not been available to update it.

In short:
In it's current state, the mod still works, but you can only do one thrall at a time or you will lose the previous thralls you capture. This also applies to any thralls you already have in the wheel of pain.

When you place a captured thrall, that has been picked up and in your inventory, into the wheel of pain that has thralls in the wheel of pain, it will delete any thralls that are still in the wheel of pain.

Sooo am I supposed to only be able to carry one thrall this way? It keeps being overwritten if I try to carry another thrall...And when I had one on a rope at the same time it also disappeared when I got to wheel of pain

well back to placing several wheels of pain all around the map! this is gonna be painful

May need the community to go and ask for an adoptee for this style of work.

I can't find trace of thelich, and I don't think his paypal still works.
Hope that someone in community can reverse engineer his creations, and re-upload them.
My favourites are PackRat Helper and this, Catch and Carry.

The community needs a new mod with the same functionality, the author disappeared and does not appear on the network, there will be no updates. Unfortunately no other way

I narrowed it down to this Mod causing the issues. When I turn it off, things are back to normal. But when turned on, it deletes any previous Thralls you pick up, and deletes any Thralls that are in the Same Wheel you place a Captured Thrall in. It also causes the same issues with Pets.

I don't know if it caused me to lose other things in my inventory, as I carry so much junk, I wouldn't notice. But since you mentioned it, I'll have to take a closer look.

I just started using this mod. I think it is way better than dragging! I have encountered the same issues as @Top @Jake Dragon. I have also found that sometimes my inventory item gets deleted where the thrall icon lands. Doesn't matter if I sort by heavy or alphabetical. Some items are easy to replace. Not so much with the legendary though. Does not happen every time.

Another thing I noticed, you can only pick up 1 pet at a time now too. Not sure if it is due to this mod yet or not. Need to test it again later this evening.

Having same problem. Can only pick up 1 Thrall. It deletes any previous Thrall you picked up and keeps the last one.
Also, if you put more than one Thrall captured with the Catch and Carry in the Wheel, the same thing happens. It only keeps the last one you put in the wheel and deletes the previous one.

After chapter 2 this mod only lets you pick up one thrall.
