I'm also having some trouble figuring out how exactly to do anything with the Oral Tradition precept. And having a -18 mood debuff from 'No Recent Cultural Exposition' is pretty rough.

Thanks for the comments, everyone! I've been away for a while, but I will try to have a look when I can at some of these points. I will say that I balance my mods and modpacks to be pretty challenging, and the traditions are tied to specific memes because their an integral part of the tradition. If you want more memes, you can expand the max number of memes with other mods. This was written before Vanilla expanded's framework; so, there weren't a TONNE of memes like there exist now.

How do I increase the succes chance of the Literary Tradition Ritual, I have 12 pawns and a very impressive ideo room, the leader has very high social but I cant get it past 70% Quality whicht translates to a 48% chance of the rital being bad, 22% chance terrible, 18% chance being good and 12% being memorable... what am I doing wrong?

Would it be possible to add an option to add any precepts without the use of certain memes? Gives a little more liberty when creating an ideology

The oral tradition debuff doesn't seem to account for the cooldown on leader speech.

I have a -15 even though I'm still waiting to be able to do another one

And it would be another 10 days after that to avoid the debuff from repeated speeches

Oral Tradition means the leader gives "leader speech"

I tried it on a whim and the accociated "No Recent Cultural Exposition" debuff disappered

I never had a positive outcome for the "oral tradition" ritual, it's always bad or awful. And that's with a several years old colony.

How do you do any of the Oral Tradition stuff? I've built one of every ritual spot in the game with dev mode and still can't find anything
