Great map i guess, combat music didnt need to be loud but doesnt matter anyways

After 2 Years from my First Attempt to play this map and giving up how scared I was, I manage to go back with a bit of courage to it and finally completing it. [Even thou some parts made me jump]

this map kinda feels inspired by Silent Hills or PT Hills, i liek it

I don't know what to do. I go back and forth over and over and no doors open, the scenery has no apparent changes, so unless this is just a waiting level I think it might be broken.

Glad you enjoyed it! I am unfortunately a bit limited as far as the options for enemies go. Furthermore it’s not suppose to be ‘that’ challenging, as dying of the boss would result in restarting the entire level, which takes all the fun out.

This was legit one of the best maps I've played in a while. I do think the fight with the dude at the end was a little bit underwhelming because he is just a normal guy with a spooky skin and obviously the weapon he used to kill his family. Maybe the ending fight could have been a little bit different. Something like the fight with that big robot in "Stay in Shadows" finale. Other than that, great map.

Just keep exploring the level, the logic is triggered on location

i like this map its pretty scary but i dont know how you beat the map theres a guy outside the kitchen window i dont know how i can kill him or if i even have to kill him and i can open any door as soon as i go down the stairs

what could i have missed if it wasnt broken? i went into the bathroom, kitchen, living room, i make my way to the last door and only the lights turn on, after that nothing happens.

That would suck, i’ll see if it still works, the thing is the events are triggered with logic zones, not timers. So not finding the zone, would make you stuck in place.

the second I gt jump scared I just immediately accidentally left the game then I realised I had to do it all over again

Well either way this was pretty advanced. Or alteast for me, I haven't played pttr or played custom levels in a while! When I came back and played this level I was amazed. Simply by the primitives that add so much life. The doors where amazing and also these events along with the sounds. One of my favorite is the kitchen event with everything flying out.

This was the best horror level I have played! I cannot put it in words but the primitives you added with the sound effects where amazing. Like when all the stuff fell out of the cabinets. Also I don't know if you we're suppose to kill the boss but I did. It was very fun and I was definitly scared!

Thanks kersher, I know the beginning is a bit cumbersome, but it’s hard to balance between building up suspense by not letting anything happen and advancing through the level by letting something happen. Furthermore, I tried to make it progressively more scary, so I can understand the first part didn’t really set the tone well.

This level is a top tier for a house design, I loved every part of it! Also very scary in some moments, amazing work!
The only thing is it's really hard to guess what you should do next at the beginning, thins breaks the horror mood a bit
