@Thee'e Vang: Yes, the advisor voice is something different. A custom advisor voice is separate from modding portrait voice greetings, so they're not dependent on each other to work. The portraits file dictate what greetings they use, not the chosen advisor vo for the empire.

@force728 So this is based on portraits and not the actual advisor voice? Is there anyway to pin it to a modded advisor so that when an ai is selected to have a non default advisor the custom advisor will use the custom greeting? Or is that for only the player?

@Thee'e Vang: It's a bit long but you have to setup a sound folder and include a folder with a set of .wav sound clips in it. You need to also create a greetings asset file with a category for these custom greetings under "soundeffects" and add in a file name and path for each sound file. After doing this, you go to your portraits file in the gfx folder for portraits and open the file with the portrait settings. For each portrait, there will be a "greeting_sound =" at the end. Copy and paste the custom category greetings that you would like to have for that portrait and it should work after that. If you're doing this on your own, you can use this mod's file structure as a template if you want.

@force728: I mean not necessarily, I just wanted to know why it came to be this way. Ngl i thought it might have been a bug or something along those lines

I could try to switch models myself even if i have no idea how to do it but i could always figure that out on my own with enough time, i don't want bother you with updating one of your many mods just because i'm the only one thus far who finds a specific feature to be odd

@Asteros'arius: So would you like them to be switched? The model for the battleship is the carrier model used in the cutscenes which has a higher quality than the model cruiser used in-game. With that being said, there aren't that many spacecraft models with the Ihan-rii aesthetic, so I had to fill it in with something close to the theme.

Bit of a question here, is it normal to have 2 different carrier models in the shipset with one displayed on cruisers and the other on battleships ?
The Cruiser one is of much higher quality (and thematical fidelity) and i was wondering why the battleship one is still here given its of much lower quality and less angular compared to how other Ihan-rii are and should normally be

seems to be broken even after being updated, phenotypes 4 and 5 glitch out and dont appear
