It's easily fixable in the code, just wanted to point it out. Thanks for the mod!
I'm playing and learning the physical game, but it's almost easier to grasp it all on this TTS module. Thank you for making it.
Quick question though: How are you supposed to close a rift? Even if I unlock the tile, the backside is not a normal sector. Is there a scripted way to do that, that I maybe missed?
Last time I cloned a default sector from the map and replaced the rift with it, but it was very finicky to get it into the right placement etc.
To be sure, I also tried turning caching off, then making a table. All files still loaded perfectly.
Fix 2: Sometimes when using Setup to create a game, the select maps screen is Gray and only shows Cancel Button. To fix This Turn of Mod caching and reload the game. Once maps are loaded you can turn it back on. Guessing Maps loading gets a bit buggy sometimes
How can I launch the game please..?
Thank you :)
You may wish to turn off caching and reload just in case it works, but some players seem to have issues with firewall / router / ISP.
And I must say I ordered it a few minutes after having discovered it on my usual eshop.
I've read a (real good) review on this eshop (Philibert) and it was enough for me,
as a big space games fan (4X, RTS, Grand Strategy, etc) and as a big solo player as well,
I couldn't resist but to gift it to me in advance for Xmas!
Started to read the Tutorial rules and I can't wait to test this out!
Voidfall seems to be awesome!
Thank you for such a gem, and thank you for having included solo play!
I dream of a solo mode for Twilight Imperium to give you an idea so discovering Voidfall, comparable to TI4 in terms of complexity and excellency was a blast! Thank you again!
And the Lovecraft fan I am thank you too because the lore of Voidfall
makes me think a lot about lovecraftian stories, a cosmic horror corrupting mankind.
Just great!
Hey Agent Elrond!
Game came in the mail a month ago, and can't wait to sink my teeth into this game. :^)
Was going to teach myself with this mod, but even with disabling my anti-virus I'm still having tile and image loading issues where it is not able to find them.
Do you know if you could double check the mod to make sure it's working?
It's going to be hard for me to test any more, though, since I did a lot of work reloading the assets over and over again until I got them all saved to the cache. Now I can play the game just fine but I have no idea why it was broken in the first place.
For comparison, is it possible to try with a laptop or another computer?
It puts out 1 3-spaces haven (haven 3), whereas the compendium shows 2 2-spaces havens (havens 1 and 2).
Thanks for the mod, it's awesome!
