Thanks! You have to undock it to use the drills though. There is no workaround for that.

Love this idea but how do you get around not able to use the turrets while docked??

The Gaea is a must if you run the Zeus. Once I get a rhythm going I just can't play without it. Another great build by Mavado.

Sounds like you are not playing reforged Eden.

yes a bit more mining power would be great. this combined with your zeus is good for highG lava stone mining ;)

They have to be individually used. Multiple are provided for allies to use simultaneously, or for an individual to get better mining angles for ore in the ground. But, you can only use 1 at a time.

How to you get the turrets to fire together? dont they need to be independently aimed?

Movado, might I suggest that there's a "park" or "harvest" p-menu signal that cuts hover engines and thrusters? Reduce the fuel usage and tendency to 'drift' while mining.

I did it by way of follow inverted to a signal for function, and it works great on a higher g planet or if I end up at an angle while mining.

I already salvaged the old one and spawned this one on board....a few minor mods to suit me(single player so dropped the extra seats and replaced a drilll with a tool turret....probably never use it...but its there :D)

That is exactly what I had in mind....proper hi tech industrial look...minimalist platform...Love it :) Anyone who flies a Zeus really ought to spawn one of these miners in too.
