Just came here to say exactly what Kayedon has said below. Took a bit to find out why I could no longer forbid mixed lumber from Expanded Woodworking...

I'll change it to just remove CompEquippable in my local copy.

... unfortunately, also means that things made of wood disappear if removed.

If you ever come back to this, the section adding <comps Inherit=False" /> prevents the player from forbidding any of the affected items.

VGP is just the Extra trees, such as Ebony, Cherry and Iron Woods, I'll try and downgrade to version 1.2 of Extended woodworking.

@Saizetsu I have patched the Extended Woodworking, are you sure it works? (I got the source from 1.2 legit version because the 1.3 had bad feedback). I will see about VGP

VGP and Extended Woodworking seem to ignore this and get added as weapons.

@Cruesoe it should as this removes the weapon properties of said resources so other mods can't pick on them as such.

Any idea if this will work with Pocket Sand and Auto tool switcher, my pawns keep picking up wood when they have a perfectly good club available!

This sounds good. It was annoying to give them a weapon and then find out later they replaced it with a piece of wood or a beer bottle or something.

Another one I've noted is Alpha Biome's wood types. Red wood at the very minimum, and I'm sure the Crystalline wood or whatever it is in the Propane Lakes biome. Mushroom stalks as well from the mushroom biome perhaps?

Bone from Rim of Madness - Bone gets picked up as a melee weapon as well and would be nice to exclude from Simple Sidearms.
