I don't mind if you advertise your own mod here at all. If you want to use other mods, choose my mod for auto-saving journals. Other mods conflict with loot/common_overrides.loot.json. If you don't care about other mods, use an existing mod (the original I saw https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1372094036)

I don't recall perfectly, but from what I saw, to make this CC compatible, I'd have to modify loot/common_overrides.loot.json, which would make the mod incompatible with many other mods.

So, for anyone reading, if you want to use other mods, use my mod, but firewood isn't going to drop in the courtyard. If you don't care about other mods, then use an existing mod for autosaving journals.

Hope this description helps for anyone who is deciding which mod to choose.

Confirmed not to be working with perfectly in the Courtyard (firewood doesn't drop). I was unable to get a mod which works for both Crimson Court enabled and disabled. I'll make a new mod later for those who want to use this with Crimson Court.

The problem is that the file this mod overwrites is also included in the crimson court dlc -- and that crimson court version includes entries for firewood (and also blood chances). I think you'll need to create a new mod that requires the crimson court dlc, since this would be the version for those that aren't using crimson court.

thankfully i've assembled a heart attack juggling team that works fine with no firewood

After playing with it on the last few days and taking some journeys into the Crimson Court, I can confirm the firewood via the wine crates problem. It's the only one I've encountered, though it is a strange one and I'm uncertain as to what might be causing it, given how little this mod changes anything.

When I have the time, I'll head back into the court and see if it's still happening after the change you made.

I made a small change, but I don't think it's related to the issue you're experiencing. You could try again if you want. If you're still experiencing an issue, it may be due to how this mod is interacting with other mods. The original auto-saving journals may be an option for you if you don't have any mods which conflict with it

Thanks for reporting the issue. This mod modifies very little. I've looked over the mod and I'm not seeing any obvious mistakes. Can anyone else confirm this issue? I'd like to make sure it's definitely caused by this mod.

the mod seems to make it impossible to get firewood in the crimson court
I just use a shovel on the wine crate, bag has space, it says ~smashing the crate reveals treasure!~ and then nothing happens

I noted this was the only mod installed that modified curios, so i disabled it, and now i've (finally) gotten one

Thanks a lot...glad it's helpful. I found myself in the same situation and it was pretty easy to change it, so I figured I should just upload it for anyone else who had the same problem.

I don't tend to leave comments like this, but I really wanted to say that I appreciate this mod a lot. Even on replays, I like to take journals if possible, yet I'm rarely able to justify keeping them over heirlooms and gems.

Plus, I've found that this has worked for custom journals related to other mods, and despite my very mod-heavy save files, I've experienced no issues with it thus far (though I'll mention if this changes.) Thank you for this c:

I was wondering if it would work in general with most classes. I use a lot of modded classes. If it should work with most of them that's good enough for me!
