Whenever you load up a new sandbox game, there is always a blaster with kinetic ammunition and no upgrades in the Weapons tab. That blaster is called Kinetic Blaster. If you use that blaster and set it to have +100% damage, and I use that blaster and set it to -80% energy cost, and I download your drone using the Kinetic Blaster with +100% damage, it will instead use my version of the Kinetic Blaster, which has -80% instead.
If this happens it can cause problems, especially if you set Kinetic Blaster to have -80% and -20% energy cost to make energy-less drones, but I don't, then your energy-less drone design will not work if I download it.

There is a bit of a problem with O'l Wormy that I've seen quite a few times. The drone uses Kinetic Blasters. If you have the original Kinetic Blaster that is always there in sandbox mode, and you modify it, any drones you download use the local Kinetic Blaster instead of the probably different Kinetic Blaster on the creator's computer, which can really mess things up.
It didn't apply here, since the local Kinetic Blaster I have is ridiculous, but it is important to make sure your drones universally work.

happy to help, but i actually have made a drone design for that very purpose i think you'll find more practical (and also much simpler), in fact i've more or less been only using variations of it for 230 hours of playing the game, as i haven't found anything better
