Thanks for the feedback, everyone! I have deepened all the water areas on the map, which should hopefully keep them from drying up. Since the map doesn't include flowing water (all water is sea level based), for best results I would suggest playing using water towers and inland water treatment plants rather than pumps and outfalls.

This is a beautiful map however everything dried up in the middle rather quickly, I suggest editing it and deepening it.

The map is partly unplayable because it the river middle is very shallow and dries up easily, especially in the east, otherwise it is very good.
