I love this mod so much. This is easily the best and most accurate XM8 mod that I have ever seen. Thank you for doing my favorite weapon system justice.

Might be a few years late but for those of you asking to use the G36 reload animation, why? The XM8 has a bolt release in the trigger guard.

Just a heads up, it appears that with the recent update to the mod the XM8's will despawn at random intervals, as well as the XM320's being removed during reload animations, not sure if that's been noted or if there's a better place to post for hotfixes but it's definitely an issue.

Any chance of at least using the G36 reload animation? With the charging handle and all?

Love the weapons, but all the sights are too much far away from the sighting node. It's a bit hard to aim accurately, and it kinda broke the immersion. Is ther a way to make the (RHS and other mods) sights closer?

No reload animation. The XM8 reloads the same way as the G36, where you pull back on the charging handle. Pretty lazy considering you already have that reload animation on your G36 mod where you pull back on the charging handle.

CSW XM8 is better than this.

Hey, you mod looks great! Sadly I don't get any non-supressed weapons sounds or a reload animation ... maybe a mod conflict? I have the all-in-one pack and JSRS with NiArms Compatibility loaded along that ... anyways thanks for finally bringing high quality XM8 to Arma <3

Still surprised the XM8 didnt make it into vanilla arma 3, it seemed like the kind of platform Bohemia was looking for in a near-future multi purpose rifle, but they went with the MX.

@ViolentDoge it does that if you have the all-in-one mod loaded also, it'll prob be fixed when its added to that mod, just give em time

optics on the MWSF rail version sit a little far forward, especially noticeable with ACOG scopes from any mod. Could it be moved back a bit, to simulate proper eye relief?

This is just astonishing, I love the small grime and dirt on the rifles, a small detail that a lot of weapons don't have. Welcome back Toadie, tbh it felt a little empty without you!

Never liked the XM8 rifle, and still don't, but these models are a work of art (as usual).

Seems to be all non-grip, non-gl variants that have the issue. All dependencies are loaded and have fiddled with different positions in the load order. Good to see a new NIArms weapons pack by the way. Everyone loves an XM8

@lexcell - Yeah ,absolutely. Should be within the day.
@Predator14 - yeah I thought I had more ingame images than I did, so I slipped in one from when the textures were technically incomplete.
@Jim Beam - Yes, but you won't get the magazine to use, and think a couple of the muzzle devices need testures from it. If you're using say, CUP or RHS or something, that's probably not much of an issue.
@T90.Br0thSoup - Never left :) You can safely blame Prairie Fire for the release gap though
