Does this have to be in a certain position in the mod list? Cant make one. I'm on pre aquatica

Hello for a reaons they some kind red line around dino, but i never active it, and when i drop the spy it's still here. i need die for it's go away. i don't want the game get too easy :( someone know why ?

The post aquatica branch is the default
If you mean the pre aquatica branch that I mentioned earlier then right click ARK, properties, betas, select pre-aquatica. Afterwords it should say ARK: Survival Evolved [preaquatica] in your Steam library.

Hud is visible I can see the names normally, but I cant see the man's name far away with the spyglass

Some creatures show wrong taming food quantity, for example: Baryonix, Ichtiornis and others piscivores and some carnivores I cheked out.

Can't see other tribe names on the spyglass screen when I look their dinos or players

What food/kibble that is needed to tame doesn't show up as a stat. All that's there is a white square and a 1.

@Vex: For me the Egg UI works for eggs that a Dino layed, but not if I pick up the egg and drop the it again.
And yea, there is a sync issue between server and client where clients logout and in again with the spyglass active. Server settings aren't check when logging in again.
And for some dinos it shows the wrong taming food. Specially for dinos tamed with Giant Honey the numbers needed is way to low, and for Achatina it shows an infinite long list of berries.
But it's still one of the most up to date spyglass mods out there.

So I can mention a few things that are presently occurring for anyone else potentially wondering in the future.


Is this Mod Working?
Well sorta, It has its small buggy quirks occurring, and I am not too sure its still being maintained anymore.

That being said though; I've noticed a potential Exploit / Solution to these bugs (I mention this as both because it depends on the settings your preferring)
If your comfortable with all Settings being active, then this is a Solution.
If your looking to customize these, then this is an exploit that will enable these features for all users.
Egg UI doesn't work at all.
All Other UI work, However the first time 'Using The Consumable/Skin' has a bug where it doesn't completely work right away, but if you logout and log back in it'll work for all future attempts (Until the Dedicated Server is refreshed, then all Users will have to apply the Consumable/Skin to again fresh and do the logout login method.

does anyone know if this is still being updated?

because it appears the mod still works partially, the Egg UI doesn't appear to display anymore with the ini setting ensuring it should be popping up.

Awesome mod... One nitpick... There should be an option to show your tamed dinos names. I can't seem to find this anywhere and when you have lots of dinos that look alike this can be a bit frustrating.

I think last update borked the outline. Shift+F5 is not working

I have "OnlyShowStatsForTames=True" on the server. But is possible to still get the spyglass to show stats for wild dinos. The way to do it is: Log in and activate the Spyglass (consumable) so you have the buff active. Log out, then log in again, you now still have the buff active and now it will show stats for wild dinos even thou it is turned off on the server. This is not possible in single player since then the server goes down when you log out so the buff gets reset.
I would guess this is a bug.

Under the hood ARK uses an list with every possible color for dinos and the value you see there is the index of that color in the color list. With this index you could for example colorize a different dino in the exact same colors with a mod that alows that.

I really love this mod. The way I am able to customize all the colors and sizes really helps me out with my poor eyesight.

However, there is one thing I don't know the meaning of. In the second picture (the one where it show the egg's info), right above the section where all the stats are shown, there are six diifferent colored boxes with different values in them. What are these values / colors telling me exactly?

@KAVAN i couldnt post this on the ASA mod comments but i am having problems with using the mod-whenever i try to toggle outline for me all it does it lower the brightness of my latop screen. I press them both at the same time and it doesnt work, and the Alt home to bring up the settings wont work either....am i doing something wrong?

The mod is now also available for ASA.

The tek binoculars in ASA basically does what this mod does (except the taming requirements) @Marcus
