I tested it while playing as a 16 year old Sunni Egyptian, In almost ~30 years, I had only one child with my 4 wives. (played on the very easy difficulty too)

Anyway, if your wife is already pregnant for example, or even your female character as it was in my case, you can't just delete your unborn child... so be careful especially playing these kinds of characters with poligamy lifestyle.

As soon as you have one male, you can enable via the decisions. if your first child is a daughter, even better... free marry alliances.

even if i'm playing as a female, it's funny when it still says ''wife'' at the decisions tab... should have been ''spouse''.

PETA link by itself would be enough but having the "Cat Adoption Team" links right below it makes for some delicious irony.

PETA has teams of people who collect "homeless" dogs and cats (many which are not "homeless") and kills them, because if there are no living animals there will be no more animal suffering.

Given the mod, I would have expected a link to Planned Infanticide instead.

You should make the decision detect whether or not you have concubines or lovers... so that you can enable the birth control decision when you are not married but have other partners.

Mod has gotten 'buggy', at least in my case -- I have many of the DLCs, so maybe there's a conflict. After install, it starts putting all save files inside the Mod's own subfolder, and it seemed to also cause some text-message/misspelling errors in game pop-ups. Both issues disappeared after uninstalling this older mod, which hasn't been attended to since 2014... shame, I like the concept :(

Also even though it might be true peta isn't trust worthy the web you gave have a clearly conservative ideology you can see it when it says that the comic "your mommy kills animals" it's a children book when it is not. Or how it says it funds terrorist when it refering to the animal liberation front. They maybe terrorists because they are agaisnt the system but if you use that word people automatically think about muderers and I've no doubt they used that word on purpose, so people that does not ready throughtly does not realise.

PETA aren't my faves but many animal welfare groups are put in positions from time to time where animals must be euthanised. No Kill shelters are unethical.

This mod is broken on Linux due to filesystem case-sensitivity and inconsistent casing in the mod files. Workaround possible using ciopfs.

Can I still father bastards with this mod? Cause the whole point of abstinence is to prevent fracturing of the realm due to gavelkind. But I like to have many bastards that I could legitimize should my sole heir die.

Not having relations with your wife seems like an odd choice to go for with this mod.

I'd think it would be much more lore friendly if the option had something to do with "pulling-out" or trying alternate means of intercourse.

Pulling-out choice would simply lower fertility by -90%

Alternate intercourse would disable any chance of having children but lowers Piety 50 or a small monthly cost.

Abstaining completely from intercourse just seems like quite a weird choice that you went with.

Hard to roleplay that while playing also.

I find changing the Succession law to Ultimogeniture is the best way to control who heirs your titles. Marry your 1st wife to someone with a good trait (i.e. Strong, Quick, Genius etc.) than when you birth a child with that trait passed on divorce her and find a 2nd wife in the 40s with High stats numbers to buff yours. Best of both worlds, controled heir and than high stats bonuses!

I tried deleting the birth control mod, because on of the mods I have has made it impossible for me to save a game.. or do much of anything on the game. While tried to figure out which one is doing this.. I decided to delete all of my mods and start fresh. This would be fine except this mod is dug in like a tick and no matter how many times I delete the mod.. it pops right back up in the mods folder. So please.. tell me how to delete the mod so I can eliminate it as a suspect in destroying my game. KTHXBAI!

Don't know if this is possible, but I wouldn't mind having a mod that increases the infant and childhood mortality rate. The birth rate in this game is pretty accurate for the Middle Ages, but the childhood death rate is unrealistically low. I'm pretty sure I've had more chldren die due to assassination than due to illness.

So after playing with this mod and having a blast with it,

But here's a few things that might make it more "funny"
- If your spose have traits that is"sluty" like lustfull they might sleep with someone in youre cort if you dont take care of them when you wont sleep with him/her. This might just randomly add an event where you might get a basterd or two trown into your family

- When you use the "Birth control" give a negative like to your sposes relation (with might led him/her to cheat on you ect
