Having the same issues as the dude below me. GarrysMod/garrysmod/scripts is a folder that just doesn't exist, even after freshly reinstalling the game and verifying the game integrity. Putting the scripts folder from the linked mod into the garrysmod folder didn't do anything either, as did putting it in the sourceengine/scripts folder.

Still getting an error in the console claiming that the game can't play the rubber walking sounds 'cos they don't exist. How did you come about getting a scripts folder inside your GarrysMod/garrysmod file directory?

The scripts have to be installed clientside. I don't believe that they have to be on the server.

Do the scripts need to be installed by all players, or are they simply serverside?

That's weird. I just tried placing the scripts in both garrysmod/scripts and sourceengine myself yesterday and all of the sounds worked for me. Are you sure that you're not arranging the file structure wrong (you should just be moving the "scripts" folder from the .zip into GarrysMod/garrysmod rather than having GarrysMod/garrysmod/scripts/presencefootsteps-hla-scripts like you would to load an addon)? The rubber sounds can be pretty quiet in-game too, if that helps.

nevermind, neither of those worked, i think the script is broken.

My bad, I realized I gave the wrong instructions. Try moving the scripts folder to GarrysMod/garrysmod/scripts instead.

putting the scripts into the addon folder did nothing, i made sure to unzip it and put the "scripts" folder into addons.

something i've just recently noticed is that these footsteps don't have rubber footsounds, like, they don't play at all.

is there the escape from tarkov one ?
