I'm using this mod. It alleviates a lot of issues. I wish the UWE people would incorporate this into their mod with the Holy Nation Outlaws expanded in the Hub.

see, this is insane. because I thought trade ninjas going insane was an issue with living world, and now I realize it's actually part of the vanilla game. Insanity. Def trying this mod now

This is so necessary. I'm still having some issues with the Tech Hunters apparently not getting along with the Trade Ninjas, but that might be an issue with other Hub mods I'm using.

Dear god thank you for this I use the hub expansion mods and the hub was a literal killing field. Streaks of blood everywhere, dudes missing limbs and dying right and left it was utter chaos and had to constantly import to regen shop keepers. It got so bad I was orginally looking for a mod that would let me exterminate the holy nation outlaws because of this issue.

Nah, those guys are troublemakers no matter how you look at it.
I did just update it so the Trade Ninjas are at 50 relations with HN Outlaws, because they were still murdering the townsfolk when they got in scuffles. Hopefully they don't leave town to protect them.

Hi , this mod is working well for me. I don’t see much fighting on hub , only if it’s a group npc which is all hostile but hub characters don’t fight each other on my games now(:

Alright, I'll make the change. There's no reason for HN outlaws to have any beef with mercenaries of all people. They are regular mercenaries from the vanilla faction, right?

Just as a heads up, this mod seems to have some limitations, since it mainly sets certain factions to "coexist;" but that doesn't solve all the fighting. I still catch the guards beating up outlaws sometimes. I assume one of the outlaws must have looted someone they shouldn't have. The good news is that I think it prevents them from going on a rampage and putting everyone down again and again.

Please let me know if this update solves the issue.

That should be simple, but when have mercenaries ever shown up in the Hub? Are they the regular faction or from a mod?

@chrismmar, It's not dependent on any other mods. The issue is that mods made in the experimental build require you to use that build to play it.
I recommend you move to version 1.0.55 - (Newland) (Experimental), even if you choose not to use this mod. It's as stable as any other build of Kenshi, and adds distant viewing of objects and terrain among other things.

@DraxTemSklounts, I think that's the normal case when a town reaches 0 population. Whoever is the dominant faction in the area, or whatever world state you've set off, will determine who takes over.

Iron Legion is from one mod or another, though not one of mine. I don't think this should interfere with anything like that, since all it does is tell three factions to (mostly) ignore each other. no other faction is covered by this mod.

the iron legion which im not sure if its a mod or not; will come and mow over the holy outlaws ive seen it, but if they killed them dont you think they would take the town instead of the shek?

im not sure what is happening in my game, it seems reactive world is making it so if the population reaches 0 either whoever is there aswell by default takes the town or if someone made somebody mad and then the stronger faction with endless waves squash them. either way the shek destroyed the town.

I do run into bugs in FCS every now and then, so the experimental version could explain some problems.

Sure, why not. There's no reason why the shek would target them. Although I've been attacked by them just for being too close when they are fighting.

could the shek be added to this? it seems if there is any friendly fire it becomes a warzone and the hub eventually ends up with 0 inhabitants, and then the faction who was there at the time, beating them i assume takes the hub. Also reactive world so it becomes interesting who gets the properties.
