Well if there's any remote chance of this being added, it's probably only this upcoming Summer update.
It'd be out-of-season, but fingers crossed it gets added then and have it in-game and ready for Scream Fortress this year.

Scarrow, the devs could even make the Series 1 and 2 of the Spells a Halloween case specific drop, like how Smissmas crates have the festivizer as their drop.

it's going to be like unusuals, the oldest spells will be worth a medical bill while the newest will still be cool but actually affordable

I believe the Dev's stating one of the big reasons spells were originally removed was how taxing they were on the game. They were removed for technically reasons.

Man, the List of spells grows with every week. We went from 12 to 19 in only a little under 12 weeks. I hope these get added, and I hope your amazing pioneering work grows with every year so that community made spells are as regular as cosmetics!

It was a dumb move to remove spells. It was an amazing concept, and would love to see them make a return. Didnt play back when they were released, and the cheapest spelled items on backpack are like 10 bucks. Im wishing this gets added in, Retro

@A .VMF Well I've been making flasks for each category of spell, just like Valves old ones did. I feel like the effect they made would fall under tracers, which I already have a flask for. Still it would be fun to make the heart shape bottle.

Unusualifiers already were a massive hit to the trade economy and taunt value, crate depression was a slap in the face to traders when exploiters were rewarded for exploiting, and now this?


Are we openly trying to remove exclusivity from this game? Cool concept yes, but I don't want to see anyone's hard earned backpack value plummet because of an idea like this.

It is better than bringing the older ones back surely, will atleast keep something unique out of all things in game

It'd be really cool if Valve added Spells as a reward from the 666 MVM mission.

Oh man, I wish. Having new spells would definitely make sure that old spells don't lose their value, while allowing newer players to experience spells too.

yes yes yes yes! Especially good if they are rewards to Halloween missions and MVM! If Comp XP pips and level ups dropped items, then this sort of tool item could have been Halloween event drops.
