It's sad that later releases of this game didn't have Bethesda pay modders for their content and then add them by default for a fuller experience. Modders that added towns, creatures, story quests, weapons and spells...all the re-releases this game has had and for the most part very little has changed about them other than making it so alot of the older-game-version mods are no longer compatible.
Thanks for making this. Can't wait to have a look around!

really cool mod, however it has small conflicts with "Whiterun Forest" - some trees on walls, coming out of armory, as well as changing the sign from "Point The Way". removing the changes to the sign, would fix the latter problem. Also, mounted followers seem to have no idea how to traverse through this structure.

Not bad, but I found the use of wall segments with invisible barriers above them to be a major downer. There's also a big glitch (or is it only me?) where the wall on the eastern side of the river has an end piece missing, facing right at you as you cross the bridge, which looks awful.

i have a little bug, in the path close to the White River Watch Cave, the wall have a invisible part close to the bridge.

What this mod needs for sure, as i already said in previous post, is to make the npc's guards UFO compatible so we can dress them as we like and upgrade the walls so they wont have that ruin look like many vanilla walls. Thats a small add in Skyrim's world but i really love it cause it gives you that rpg feeling being there at the crossroad keeping it safe as well the farms next to it.

I really love this mod, it doesn't change the game a lot but visually improves the outskirts of Whiterun and makes sense because it protects the farms. I'd love to see more mods which added to the Whiterun outskirts. I saw one which added a load of refugee camps which I liked, but it clipped with this mod at some points and there's a huge ridiculous set of fortifications. A more simple set of refugee camps would really be a nice improvement, as would any more farms.

ive found a few graphical issues. blank textures on a corner of the wall by the bridge. like the mod though i thought there should be more fortification around Whiterun considering how large of a city it is in the game.

Ok I still see it has the problem with True Skyrim with the wall passing into the hut and I found that the same issue of the outside not showing up when looking up through the ceiling boards from the inside of any of the buildings, other then that every other issue I had before seems to be fixed.
My followers could follow me in and around the area, through the gates the added arch across the river is a nice touch. The guards I noticed dont move around, maybe add some sandboxing to them so they at least patrol the area

Going to try this again since it seems you've updated it, I still have True Skyrim installed so I'll get to see if you solved that issue with the wall going into the hut across from the meadery.

I have this mod some time now and i like it but you can do more with it m8. Pls update it maybe woth more buildings (not too many ofc casue its just a small outpost near the city) and make the npc's there UFO friendly so we can dress them as we like. I mean they are alone out there and they need good armor..)

This looks really good! I have a few things to comment on:

-The ceiling in the basement of the Armory has a hole in it that looks into The Skyrim VOID (aka gray nothingness), as well as the smaller cracks in the ceiling of the other building.

-The ladder next to the Armory doesn't allow me to activate it and climb up to the top.

-Just noticed that this conflicts with the Provential Courier Services mod which places a house right in the same spot. I think this location is better for you though. Just letting you know.

It is a Fur Hood and probably added by Immersive Armors. I'm using Immersive Armor too and my Guards wear the Hoods also.

It would be cool if you added more fortifications, I don't think you should do any shops though. If you really want to add shops though, why not just make that a different mod? Just a suggestion. It's still your mod, and your mod alone.

I dont think is a very good idea to add shops... i mean its a security outpost. It needs more guards, maybe a building or 2 and some activity for the npc's. You can make them UFO friendly too, it would be awesome!

I was gonna say.. what good does this do, you can just come down the hillside from Riverwood or cross the river from the east side of Whiterun.. but then again what do the other vanilla watchtowers really do to protect the city besides being lookouts rite?

Interesting idea though! Glad to see people are still coming up with new ideas for mods still.

Ive noticed that guards have no specific routine... I mean they just stay put and sometimes facing the wall like idiots...) Look at it pls and maybe place outside some train dummies, a workbench and stuff like that to keep them busy and look real or just put them patrol the bridge around the outpost. Even inside the buildings they do nothing, just facing the wall...(
