@Thorn-Exile It's not a station, it's modules for a station. Place one down and then modify it. You'll see a tab for it with the name of the mod

I released an update to Freight Yard Framework to work with modded tracks, but I'm seeing conflicts running both the new version of that and this mod. If you check my mod's page the changes needed were found by RadiKyle and posted in a discussion thread. Could you check if those changes need to be applied to yours to play nice together? They have a .zip of the updated version on there, so if you throw that in your staging area and test with yours I would really appreciate it.

A bridge that needs to be placed from an asset like a walkway.
I've been doing this for a long time because I thought it required careful placement, but if you first draw the track under the relevant area, including the platform part, and then place it, the snap will work.After that, change to the platform

Cant seem to figure out where the error is comming from, but its crashing my game. Removing this mod seems to solve the issue sadly, but i like this mod :(

@jimbo_1977 It just wouldn't let me delete or change the stations for some reason (this was during the beta) so I deleted it along with the map that was f'd and just haven't downloaded since

@Richard Dastardly I had other issues with that mod so I wasn't even using it after the beta. I wish it would be updated tho, I liked those ground modules

@GrumpyZade Freight Yard Framework stations also break the storage ( also won't let you use custom track, so that's another reason not to build the initial station using it ).

@Greenranger I'm not for sure yet as I have to make a new map to test this. But I think this update actually broke the storage function.Only two mods have updated that I think can be causing this. One of them is obviously this one and the other is madhatter's first truck stop. Not the new building he recently released

Also note that you might need to 'refresh' your station to get the warehousing to work by building or deleting a module.

Update to add the warehousing/shared cargo capacity feature from the latest patch.

Note that at this stage there's a couple of mods (i believe) that override some of the vanilla cargo buildings and stop that feature working correctly. This mod doesn't include any versions of the vanilla buildings. So if you're running this mod and the default red brick buildings aren't working properly for some reason, its got to do with a different mod, not mine. I don't have those files in this mod!

As an added bonus, some of the platforms have a little extra capacity due to being buildings. So the covered platform and single-story building has an extra 10 cargo per platform, while the 2-story cargo building has an extra 20 cargo per platform.

@gorter127 absolutely. I also want to have a crack at doing a bit more work to the mod and adding a few new things or upgrading some of the meshes, since the mods a bit.....messy. Nothing concrete yet. But at the very least, they'll be updated with capacities soon.

Update: added two new assets, a platform extender that can be added to reduce the visible platform gap on vanilla stations, as well as a wooden ramp for loading/unloading cargo or reducing the height difference between carriages and the platform. Screenshot added above.

@Gr1m: I started a new map just to use these. After a wee trouble on the learning curve, the ideas started to take shape and soon my new map was quickly populated with gorgeous, over-sized cargo/goods stations. I have moved on to making passenger stations, hybrid stations and depots with these assets. I cannot compliment your work on this mod adequately. For the slender file size alone you deserve bountiful praise. :steamthumbsup:

@babylon218: Perhaps drop a platform cover with a full hoarding to hide the misalignment of doors?

Absolutely loving this! Just started a US-theme map, and I've already built two fairly unique-looking freight depots with your mod! A thought I've also had (and which I'll probably use all over my next UK map) is using your overpasses on passenger stations to represent the mail bridges a lot of British stations had.

Also, if you ever decide to repurpose these assets, the overpasses would work great with a little retexture (like half-brick half-timber walls) to represent a lot of UK covered footbridges I've seen. Just an idea if you ever decide to go down that route.

This one is really minor, but the doors on the building platforms don't line up with the generic vanilla US box cars (I imagine because they were intended for use with the British goods vans?) As I say, it's a really minor point. In practice, I'll either just ignore it or plop an empty cargo platform next to the buildings and treat the buildings as purely warehouses.

Yeah that's what I do, with regards to your reply, sorry. I should've made myself clear on that.
Not a complaint btw. I like this mod, it's a Cargo/Freight Station/Depot [call it what you like] that can actually look different due to what you can add to it.
I played about with this mod late last night and will be adding it to a map I'm making [for my own use at present]
Once again, good job with this.

Addendum:
You may want to add to your notes that the some of the placeable assets are listed under the Assets tab as they're not in the misc section of Stations.

@wabbithunta: There might be a more elegant solution to it (I'm not that great with coding so idk if there's a way to code a new placement system together or anything), but the way I do it/I recommend is laying down a bunch of the track pieces (from the station's configure menu so that they're all uniform) along the path of where you intend the overpass to go and snapping the pieces to that, then removing the track pieces and replacing them with buildings/platforms etc.

Nice work making this mod.
A little heads up for you, some overpass sections don't snap together. These are the sections that are meant to sit over the tracks and to do so you have to line them up manually to ensure they're both in line and level on height before adding them. Would be nice if they could do so but it's not too great an issue for me as I like this mod.

2/2 Also, in TPF1 there is this MOD: "Cargo Container Station", it's created by Maverick. It would be nice to have a similar cargo station TPF2... inspired by the original of course... . Other than that, I love the looks of this old style.

1/2 Perhaps it would be an idea to use the assets/various parts of this MOD on standard modular Cargo Train stations.. I mean, we actually got plenty of assets to use on passenger stations, not so much on Cargo stations
