Ha! Maybe you just aren't far enough through yet. Eventually the number of raiders reaches something like half of your population. This results in some performance problems, which is why Scandinavia uses smaller, more frequent raids.

Thank you, loved the Denmark map.
Playing scotland now hardcore, and its too easy to be honest, will run a Denmark map if i lose in scotland or if i never lose.

I have uploaded an update that should fix that issue. I had the minimum winter temperature set too high.

It seems like my animals are able to eat outside during winter on the denmark map.
They just go into the stable when they are very cold.
Seems like the game is not recognising that its winter.
Problem is that they cannot reproduce outside stables.

In the Denmark map my animals refuse to go to stable in winter, did not encounter this on the Norway map.

What about flint deposits? Bearing in mind that there is no natural occurrence of flint in Norway.

Norway :steammocking: haha, trade for metal is working just fine, i just keep making more cloth and wool than i need and it's no problem at all

Haha... Yes, that's a bit of an understatement. But if you play Norway, there is plenty of metal, and in Sweden there is more metal than in Denmark.

A bit low on metal he say's.....aye 3 iron is all the metal there is haha. However the lovely short winters are nice. I don't know about how you set parameters but animals seem to leave my settlements area faster than normal, a hunt would last half a season more or less. Had to rush into getting my own animals as pelts where in very short demand. Raiders are easy enough so far, my dogs really make a mess of them, no one escapes :mjolner:

Remember that the raiders drop bronze-age weapons that your people can use. So prioritize armor technology, because raiders never drop armor.

@Kulning its imposible when begin raiders to reach the bronze age but ı play again and gain succes by using dogs :)

Yes, this mod is intended to be extremely difficult. It is possible to survive, though. I can give you some suggestions if you want.

I'm assuming that your problems begin when the raiders start to reach the bronze and iron ages.

Still, most of your technologies will probably come from traders rather than from spending knowledge points.

I agree that it's a bit long, even when playing optimally. I just made technological advancement a tad bit faster on hardcore.
