The sniper is constantly refered to as a bushman, he's supposedly always camping, wild animals is a common theme for sniper's cosmetics. Whether it looks good or not is subjective, there are plenty of cosmetics that complements it.

Why? Like what would you wear with this to make it look good? It doesn’t even show off the personality of sniper or anything interesting beyond “he’s an Australian, and Australia is dangerous. Funny!”
