I updated to the latest version and found after some testing that it is in fact some other mod that deletes Washington and not this one.

I haven't updated to the latest version because my PC doesn't receive solid internet where I am presently, but the last time I checked, this mod completely replaces Washington as the leader for America rather than having both Lincoln and Washington available.

To fix the UA, go to JFD_Civs_AmericaLincoln_Functions.lua, in Line 237 change 'elseif' to 'if'

Does anyone know if this mod actually functions? I tried multiple different games as Lincoln wherein I declared war on another civ or had war declared on me and never once got any ability to choose a bonus. I just don't think the UA is working at all, unless I'm massively misunderstand how its supposed to work

Great job on this mod, JFD! The Monitor class is brilliantly done. My only issue is with the Investors jacking up my building maintenance by building Seaports and Harbors where I have no need for them. Is there a way to toggle production of Investor buildings in individual cities?

Did not see a something to choose. The enemy had 3 cities - I had 2.

I can only choose a wartime bonus if AI declared me a war but not if I declare war. Is this OK? The description does not dell us that it makes a difference who declares war.

Edited: I was having GPT issues and sold off several harbors automatically built in connected cities that didn't need them. However, these harbors were instantly replaced the next turn, which can be easily exploited for gold.

... But even if I didn't want to cheat, I still can't get rid of unwanted harbors to help my GPT problem.

this is a greta mod! :) but I think there's an issue with Events and Decisions?
when i take the Emancipation event, I don't seem to get the free courthouses in cities I have conquered AFTER chosing it
is that how it's uspposed to work? if so, it's kind of useless :/

AH! it does build the UA buildings, but not instantly, shows up as sort of extra production bar in the bottom of City Screen :)

two democracys: roman=more empire based,greek-more republic. however to the free masons this country went for good to bad for the future. when i inherit the roman version of demcoracy u become the rise n fall of empires. like empire earth game. u.s is limited by epoch limitation. good for economic boom but like japan said it will hurt us more by economics of future.

He wasn't comparing them in the real world he was comparing them in Civ. In Civilization Washington's America is fairly weak. Whereas this modded Civilization led by Lincoln is very powerful.

Isn't Lincol a little OP? I played against him recently and he was behind be by an era and a half the whole game (because he was trapped in a Tundra) but had 6 great admirals docked near his capital for as long as I could tell.

1: What are the "unique wartime bonus" possibilities?
2: By "Builds gold buildings automatically," can't Lincol declare war on a civ too far away to actually be a threat to quickly yoink every bank, stock exchange, et cetera and gain a huge advantage at no cost?

Well myself like others cannot get the second part of the UA to work. The first part works fine but after 300 turns haven't done any production towards gold buildings nor built any. Going to do some figuring out and wondering whether or not it's a conflict somewhere. However I have had the same problem with Stalin with certain portions not working. I love JFD's mods but the instability of some portions not working are making me rethink using them.

Alright, so deleting my previous and editing. IT IS REPUBLIC. Republic breaks the production of gold buildings. Just played a game with only Lincoln running. Without, it works perfectly fine. You almost get a 1 for 1 ratio against gold buildings. With republic being used, it DOES NOT WORK. This is a natural conflict for this mod and should be looked into.

After a few more tries, it appears that choosing the liberty social tree and then getting republic breaks the auto completion of the gold building for me. I have tried a few more games after this but instead picking the "tradittion" tree and I have seen it continue to work without any issues. Haven't tried any of the other social policy trees to see their effect, but for me it would appear that I need to stay away from the liberty tree.

I am wondering then that it could be an incompatibly with the bonuses that the republic option provides. Or it could just be something that plagues my game.
