I think a version of the mod that makes the darkness pitch black would be quite comedic.

@SomeDonkus I mean, depends on what you mean by "I need". IPECAC runs fine without this mod, it is not a requirement. However, IPECAC doesn't include this feature, it was meant to be a standalone and will be kept as so (especially for potential performance reasons). So, if you want to have this effect, you should download this mod; otherwise, not.

this makes the curse more realistic, as well as giving an extra challenge. I like this mod!

It's actually quite funny and immersive for the curse of darkness, nice job
