Hey so.. I really like the removed damage bonuses... but i'd rather not have the gibs. Could you make a version that just does that, or is there some file I could delete to disable just the gibs?

there are two VPKs, which one do I use? the one that says 000 or dir?

My suggestion: bring back the head hitbox, but rework it so it only counts if you get the top of the head between the eyes. This way, it only counts if you hit the brain.

@dstrong08 just search "assassin" from the workshop mod and find the workshop made by Chukcha_Halfer. The ones with the revealing eyes mod

Actually, there’s 2 workshop mods that you should combine: 1 that overhauls the hitboxes & 1 that adds gibs to the assassins. Maybe add the assassin hitbox overhauls to the gib mod & release the combo.

IIRC, assassins did not have gibs either

@1v4n94 haha ikr. i remember killing ichthyosaurs with the gluon gun and they would just disintegrate with their whole body

I always found it weird to not be able to destroy ichthyosaurs both in this game and the original Half-Life... THANKS A LOT FOR THIS!

@ninthlyokowarrior none. The vortigaunt is the only xen creature that has a head hitbox in the original. Although its hd variant does not
