I hope this resolves any issues if the mod had any. I would like to reiterate that this mod does not impact reforms at all. Any Persian/Parthian reforms should trigger just fine as intended in vanilla.
I also wasn't asking to remove the Shahbaz as I was inquiring if it originally was the Derafsh Kaviani because I wasn't sure if I was losing my mind or not.
Base DEI already uses the Faravahar for Media anyway.
This mod is mostly fantasy anyways. I put in units that only might have existed.
That said, if you wanted to push the Sassanid idea even further in a submod, I would DEFINITELY try it.
If you need an idea for a crazy Sassanid weapon, look up the Panjagan. No examples survived, so there's room for artistic license. You could make it into a single-use, short-range, shotgun-crossbow for a Savaran unit.
