@Godrick I mention in the description that it's affect their heads only since the l4d1 CI mod uses different uv map and textures

The second mod i ever installed was l4d1 common infected overhaul. You say its compatible with retextures but the overhaul is mainly to recolorize the models because a system to colorize the old infected wasn't implemented back in or something like that. In short, I just don't know why overhaul wont work specifically.

@Godrick Cuba already included the dead corpses since "update 1.5" in his common infected mod, it even has a screenshot on it as well

The second mod i ever installed on this game is the one that conflicts with an addon that would fix something that's been bugging me a a lot. What about Cuba's common infected?

@MRcedaguy well technically it's a same mods as "HQ Ragdoll Corpses", just different texture and compatibility but it not really necessary considering it using the common infected model

PSA: L4D1 Common Infected Overhaul got updated to remove the corpses, so this mod may be more compatible with that

I DO have the OG suit_lower_03 though! And i am pretty damn sure that is THAT lower. (i swear to god, i know im right!) I can send you the OG texture if you want!

It was originally gonna have female suit lower 03 but the problem with it (on my perference) is the clothing is not really fitting with female_suit_upper 05. I can say however, try my best to recreate the texture based on original but reskin will not affected though

I always thought that the OG textures were burnt bodies, didn't realize they were just dead body models... Also, if you were going for accuracy, the one female suit lower is actually female_suit_lower_03,

Given that L4D2 was developed a literal year after L4D1 it likely wasn't the PC market Valve was concerned about since they had a version for the Xbox 360 which has more limited hardware compared to the PC market, its not JUST the "PC MaStEr RaCe" that exists!

they made the models look like pixelated vomit i'm not sure what kinda computers people had back then but i'm sure they weren't that bad
