they never worked automatically unless you had a map script installed in your beatrun/gamemode/Maps/ directory

ziplines and pipes no longer work sadly and now we have to spawn them in manually

neither is true. the gamemode is a work in progress and is in "early-access" for a reason. when it's done, it will be released.
